It is made by Benedent and is called the Tiple-Pet Toothbrush. They also make toothpaste (for dogs) under the Triple-Pet name. A single package containing a tube of toothpaste and a brush is also available. Google "Triple-Pet Toothbrush" to find lots of places that sell them online.

I need to go check over there, speaking of the Chrome thread...Gad, it's like I've got both a home and a cottage, and I'm having to flit back and forth, maintaining two properties. How on earth do people get entrenched in a dozen threads at once?...Too much for my wee brain...

I am becoming famous today :)

As you guys know, I know Patti knows for sure that Wegmans is my favorite store. They are very celiac friendly which makes me love them more.

Every week in their sale circular on the back cover they photograph a customer and the customer explains why they love the store.

They contacted me and I am going to be photographed, I am representing the celiac community because those were the reasons I gave them as to why I love shopping there. :):):):) I will let you guys know when it is in the paper because you can go online to their website and view the flyer online :):):)

:D:D Congratulations Amanda,

Now you can add Celiac Celebrity Spokesperson to your resume. And the rest of us can "drop" your name when we are trying to get past the bouncer at Wegmans.

Did you ever see that part in friends where Monica is hugging Chandler and she says "girls do not have pillow fights in their underwear every time they get together." Chandler's face gets all weird. Monica quickly says, no they do they do. He sighs with relief.

LOL!

Take your own food (good junk food like candy and chips). Don't let them reach into your bag of chips. Get it for them or pour it out of the bag . . . the rest of it, you should know . . . stay up too late, make too much noise, watch scary movies and giggle too much . . . try not to laugh when you have pepsi in your mouth or it'll come out your nose and burn!

MYGAWD...I now have my sure-fire ticket across the border if I don't have my passport renewal done in time. It'll be like this: "No, officer, I do not have a valid Canadian passport on me...but I have something even better...you know that Wegman's flyer that came out last week? The lovely lady featured on the back page, quoted and photographed? I like, know her. We speak, often, online." ...And through I'll go...

Okay, so this make-up mineral thread lets grammatical impropriety slide? Bah! A hex on the lot of them!!

...But hey, if they're funny over there, why don't they just join US HERE in the funniest place on the planet? Why settle for second banana? We need a spy to head over there, route out the wittiest creme de la creme, and spirit them over here. Tom, you'd be too conspicuous as a male on a cosmetic thread (unless you can convincingly play metrosexual)...

Hey! We should get our Good Queen Jess on this! She needs to appoint someone....

Well, hell....We just spent nearly ten discussing how one arranges oneself in a public bathroom stall....:lol:

P.S. The tea leaves say I'm gittin' me silly back Sunday!!!!!!

This is a fascinating proclamation, Tom...Did I miss something? How do you know this? Your wittiness will be completely back on Sunday? Is it on your calendar? I didn't know your silly had ever left....:D

Things just needed a good, heavy-duty cleaning, like that substandard poodle's teeth....

I just got my test results after a less than 2-week gluten challenge consuming about 5 g of gluten per day on average.  Anti tTG-IgA: <0.2 AU/ml (<8 is negative) IgA: 180 mg/dl (Reference range is 70-400) I previously had been on a gluten-free diet for around 3 years or so, with occasional cheating and not being strict about cross-contamination. I am however still suffering from the effects of the gluten challenge (food sensitivities, slight brain fog, weird stool, fatigue, swollen thyroid, bodyaches). Is this likely to be NCGS rather than celiac disease given the test results and my history? Note: I have one copy of HLA-DQ8.
    • trents
How long have you been strictly gluten free? Certainly, it would be good to look into vitamin and mineral deficiencies and supplementation. The B vitamins, magnesium and D3 are all very important to neurological health. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to reverse gluten-induced neurological damage damage if it has gone on for a long time.
    • nataliallano
Thanks Trents I'm strict with my gluten-free diet now. I just don't feel any better. I'm going to get tested for vitamins and minerals to see if I need some supplements. For sure I got some damage that doctors call Menier's and the only way they treat it is with medicine that does damage my body more than it helps.

Thank you Scott for your helpful response! Based on this, would you say someone who is on a gluten-free diet - but not strict about cross-contamination and occasional cheating - and tests negative for tTg-IgA while having normal total IgA is not likely to have celiac, even if they have been 'gluten-free' for years?
    • Scott Adams
That’s a really insightful observation about antibody testing and the gluten challenge! You’re absolutely right that antibody levels can remain elevated for months or even years after going gluten-free, especially if there’s ongoing cross-contamination or occasional slip-ups. The immune system doesn’t reset overnight—it can take time for antibodies like tTG-IgA to normalize, which is why many doctors recommend waiting at least 6–12 months of strict gluten-free eating before retesting. For someone who’s been gluten-free for less than two years or hasn’t been meticulous about avoiding cross-contact, there’s absolutely a chance they’d still test positive, since even small amounts of gluten can keep antibodies elevated. This is partly why the gluten challenge (where you eat gluten before testing) exists—it’s designed to provoke a measurable immune response in people who’ve been gluten-free long enough for antibodies to drop. But you raise a great point: the challenge isn’t perfect, and false negatives can happen if the timing or amount of gluten isn’t sufficient to trigger a strong antibody response. This is why diagnosis often combines antibody tests with other tools like genetic testing or endoscopy. Your question highlights just how nuanced celiac testing can be! For people with celiac disease hidden gluten in their diets is the main cause of elevated Tissue Transglutaminase IgA Antibodies (tTG-IgA), but there are other conditions, including cow's milk/casein intolerance, that can also cause this, and here is an article about the other possible causes:
