I want to buy some but would love to hear your experience - has anyone done a price comparison and or had any experience?

Thanks...

I bought some this summer at the gluten free store in our area (Vancouver WA). I just ventured to have them. We did fine with them. I forget how much they are. I think it was between 6-8 dollars for a 2 lb 9 oz bag.

I bought a case from the gluten-free oats in Wyoming. I think I liked the ones from Cream Hill Estates in Canada better but the shipping is wicked so I'll stick to these.....

I posted a yummy & googy recipe for oatmeal carmelitas in the cooking section. It is a keeper.

Thanks everyone! I've been looking at Cream Hill since they're in Canada (and so am I) but I think to buy them I have to go through a US distributor???

Anyway, I'll be ordering some soon. I want oatmeal and oatmeal cookies and fruit crisp!

I really appreciate the feedback.

I get them at my health food store and I think they are $8.97 per bag. I've seen them at grocery stores but I didn't check the price. Even though my health food store is small, they usually give me better prices than other stores. And even if their price is a bit higher I will still buy from them because they have gone out of their way for me to get products I've asked for. Now they even advertise gluten free products on their reader board.

www.glutenfreeoats.com. They are out of this world great for cookies!

I got mine from Amaranth in calgary they were the Cream Hill Estates ones from Quebec, they are excellent and expensive. However, you can get bigger boxes of MCCanns Irish oats and I have seen them in Planet Organic etc. I hear they are very good. Other extremely sensitive celiacs eat them and come out okay, so I may give them a shot. When you come out here Lisa we can take a run over to planet organic.

They have a link on their website with a list of Canadian stores that sell them. I might have to try them now that I've found a store near me.

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
