I've had these several times. The last time I ate them I had a reaction....but this wasn't the only thin I ate that night that could be suspect...

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a reaction to this product??

No problems when I've eaten them.

Kinnikinnick has a dedicated facility, so cross-contamination isn't an issue with them. Thier products would be the very last on my suspect list.

Like Elonwy said, they're made in a dedicated facility so they're not likely the cause of your mystery glutening. If you do narrow it down to them as the only culprit, you may want to explore other starch intolerances. I believe they heavily use potato and tapioca starch. I could be wrong though.

The only reaction I have ever had is eating too many! Love them.

So sorry you got sick. Hopefully you can figure out what it is.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Even though all of you are faithful I'm still afraid to try them again as of yet. The other suspect food weas the new rice crust soy cheese pizza from Amy's They have a dedicated area in their facility,...but their food has made me and others sick before. I did contact them and they are sending a sample from tthat production run out to be tested...I'll post the results when they come in.

Well, if you're not going to eat them feel free to pass them on! ;):D With help (LOTS) from my 4 kids, I've gone through 8 packages since the week before Christmas  . We'd be happy to take them off your hands just to make sure you don't have any more reactions!

The cookies are great and I have never had an issue with them but Amy's stuff, that's another story. I'd keep the cookies and avoid the pizza.

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
