I think I might have found a cold cereal I can eat today. It is the Amarath O's by Nu World Foods and although they definitely weren't high on the list of "best cereal I've ever had" they were tasty and did the trick to make me feel normal (I ate three bowls in a row I think the last time I had a bowl of cereal was at least February if not December  ). Now, I wait to see if I react. Please Please Please I hope these are okay. :D:lol:

My local health food place has a TON of gluten free cold cereals - lots of differnt kinds, kid flavors, ect.. you might try your local place for some more options.. good luck!

What kind of cereals do you generally like? Erewhon makes a really good brown rice and berries cereal that is gluten free. I enjoy sweeter cereals so I generally eat the Envirokidz Panda Puffs and Gorilla Munch. My husband swears by the Erewhon stuff.

The labels of the ones I've found beofre usually contained soy flour or casein of some type which I can't have in addition to the gluten. Plus, I wasn't "ready" to add something back in but I was craving something new yesterday at the store so I bought the box. So far so good. I think I just might be having cereal for breakfast now :)

I need to look at the ingediants agian when I get home but have you tried the Enviro- Kids cold cerals. The corn flakes are good. They have several diffrent kinds. I got that since my parents went organic about a year ago and buy that kind for my nephews. I had tried it before.

Somebody on here said we can have coco pebbles I been eating them I can't see any thing in it that can be bad.

loraleena Contributor

Coco pebbles are full of artificial junk and sugar - not good for anyone. Envirokid would be a much better choice, they even have coco pebbles knock off.

My son tried the envirokidz cocoa pebbles and they tasted just like the sugary kind - only better for you!

Sometimes, it's just about being able to go into a regular store and buying something off the shelf and not paying an arm and a leg for it. Or if you're dealing with kids (like I am) - something that the other kids are eating, too.

The nutrionist that I spoke with also recommended Dora the Explorer Cereal as gluten-free. I don't see soy or casein in there either but I don't have to screen for that and don't know all the ways they hide it in a label.

Does anyone know if westsoy Rice drink is gluten free?

Also Im pretty sure the Puffins cereal is gluten free, the peanut butter flavor is better than capn crunch. They just need to make their boxes bigger, only get 2 bowls out of them.

My daughter loves Frosted Perky O's... they are gluten-free.

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
