5 Hour Energy

When I was on my way out with one of my friends about a week or so ago, we stopped for gas and he ran in to get a little bottle of that "5 hour Energy" drink... he said it works really well before workouts at the gym. Anyway, never try anything unless i know for sure that it is gluten-free, so I checked it out online, and in the FAQ section under "other concerns" it says: 5-Hour Energy is gluten free. So there you have it!

Just figured I'd share and save some of you the research time!

Thanks for that! I've used that energy source pre-gluten-free and actually have one but had put it aside. I like this one better than energy drinks as there is less of a crash at the end.

I LOVE 5 hour energy. Since I've gone gluten-free, I can't tolerate caffeine very well. So, I stay clear of the conventional energy drinks. 5 hour gives you way better wings than Red Bull!! :P Plus, the berry kind is delicious.

I recently saw commercials for 5-hour energy. I think I'll have to try it. Where can you buy it?

You can typically find it at the counter of most convenience stores. I think Walgreen's carries it too.

i still LOVE my coffee, but like you, cynical, it's a little rough on me since going gluten free. i have yet to try 5-hour but i might need it before heading to the gym tonight after a long day at work, so i'll let ya know how it works out for me :-)

I just checked the website under other concerns and it only states that it is sugar free.

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
