My Grandson is autistic and can only eat gluten and dairy free. He has been drinking Imagine Foods Rice milk but I see by there web site that they are not gluten free... Does anyone have any suggestions about what he could drink? Thanks, Grandma Lorraine

Here are a few:

RicePure from Jasper Products www.jasperproducts.com

Lundberg Farms Rice milk www.lundberg.com/info/glutenfree.shtml

Also Almond Breeze almond milk is an option, if he can tolerate nuts.

Pacific brand has Rice Milk, Hazelnut Milk and Almond Milk that are all gluten-free Open Original Shared Link

I use Pacific (in local grocery store) and it's wonderful. It's gluten-free and lactose free.

Can he have soy? If so Silk is a good brand of soy milk(I love the chocolate) to have and they have a list of their gluten free products.

Thanks for all the replies. I will go out and find some of those brands today and get them to my Grandson. He cannot have Silk because he ia also allergic to soy. This is a tough road and it tares our hearts out to see our little 3 yr old grandson go through this along with our son and daughter in love. We have another 3 year old grandson that is fine and it is even harder to have them both together and see the difference in them. But I hold onto God's promises that He is in controll and knew this little boy before we ever met him... Grandma

Westsoy makes a rice milk in addition to their soymilk. It's the best for coffee, I've found and the cheapest. I get it at Meijers.

I called WestSoy and they told me that they couldn't guarantee the rice milk is gluten free. Just a heads up.

I love Pacific Foods' rice and almond milks

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
