Heres on thing I'm not sure about. I tested high for Rice, Flax, Garbonxo beans and some other things. For gluten I tested "very low". The doctor says I have to not eat anything that showed up in color (VL is green, High is red and there is yellow and peach color in between). My question is, if "cheat" and eat some pasta, or a piece of bread will that totally screw me up, should I just try it and see, its REALLY hard when I'm traveling like right now. I am SICK SICK SICK of hamburger patty with no bun. Yuck.

Its only been a week since my labs came back. Because I don't have Celiac its hard to stick to this diet when my labs say I test very low for gluten interolance. My doctor just says its on there so you can't eat it. In the meantime, trying to go gluten-free and Rice Free I have never felt more exhausted in my entire life. Its to the point where its almost dangerous to drive. Is that normal?

Any response would be greatly appreciated. I don't have anyone to ask around here. Thank you!

Did you have celiac blood tests or allergy testing? Celiac disease is different from an allergy to foods.

I had blood work done by Geneva Diagnostics. They tested for Food sensitivies, Food allergies, allergies to environmentals such as molds, dander, weeds, etc and also specifically for Celiac. The Celiac came back negative.

The gluten came back Very Low. I test highest for Flax, bean sprouts, garbonzo beans, rice. Until that day I had flax and rice daily and garbonzo beans often. I don't mind doing away with those, but as you know, Gluten is alot more difficult and it I tested very low I'm confused as to if I really HAVE to go Gluten-Free or can I just cut down?

I'll be off line the rest of the day too, so I apologize in advance for not thanking anyone in a timely manner.

Allergy blood tests for food allergies are notoriously inaccurate. Is there any way you can take your Geneva results to an allergist?

I can do that. I wasn't sure who to get a second opinion from. I thought of Naturopath and Nutritionist, but hadn't thought of an Allergist. Thank you.

Good luck with it! I hope you get some answers.
