Meat Containing Dairy?

I was checking the allergen information for some of the restaurants around my office and noticed that Qdoba lists all of their meats (except pork) as containing milk. I react very strongly to dairy, so that's a potential problem for me. What I'm wondering though is how & why does meat contain dairy? Is that common? As far as I know marinating meat doesn't include milk, does it?

My family has always made meatballs and hamburger with milk in them. It makes the meat juicier. I'm not familiar with the restaurant but it could be the same thing.

It's not common. I wonder if they're using a cheese flavoring in the meats.

Well, it looks like Qdoba uses whey in the adobo seasoning they put on the chicken (it's the only dairy on their chicken and adobo seasoning ingredient lists). Whey is found in a lot of products, but I don't know how common it is in meat seasonings. I guess it's just one more thing to look out for.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
