  1. I've eaten them plenty of times and they are fine for me.
  2. I have had Celiac for over 10 yrs and been on this forum just as long. I recently came across a post on Ask.com or one of those websites on Soy. It basically stated Soy is grown, shipped and store with wheat on most farms and should be avoided as we are told to avoid oats due to cross contamination. I know you can't believe everything you read on the internet...
  3. Yankee Stadium has a gluten-free stand in the Main Hall with hot dogs, sausages and Udi's buns. They added Morningstar Veggie burgers this year - I assume it comes with a gluten-free bun. Also, they have Red Bridge at most of thethe Beers of the World stands. I was in the 3rd tier and unfortunately had to go down to the Main Level to find it on opening...
  4. I would assume it has only gotten better with the gluten-free craze. Also, get the Find Me Gluten free app for your phone to search when you are out there Good luck!!
  5. This is my post from my trip in Nov 2011 - hopefully things have not changed much. Todd English P.U.B - outside the Aria - had Strongbow Cider. Server was very knowledgeable of gluten-free choices informed me of the carvery station they offer (no bread obviously) and what sauces were ok and not ok. Checked on the soup my wife had (Butternut squash or...
  6. They have a buffalo flavored type also. Very spicy hot though

  8. If you were an Atheist why would you be at Mass? LOL
  9. The random person and the family member are one thing. But a server? You should have complained to the manager about that one.
  10. Original Sin is OK Mangers is OK
  11. Redds Apple Ale is not gluten-free
  12. Anyone have any experience traveling here and suggestions?
  13. That beer got me as well - it is off my list.
  14. Redbridge here but I was a Bud guy before celiac disease so I am not a beer snob at all. As others stated stay away from the Daura beer which is made wiht barley but claim to remove the gluten. Had that twice and got sick both time.
  15. WOW - that was no apology IMO. I stopped watching the Today Show for the way they fired Anne Curry and for Savanah Guthrie's insensitive comments about celiac disease over a year ago. She rolled her eyes and called celiac disease a trendy disease in a segment on gluten free diets.
  16. 4/28/13 - Vs Phillies http://mets.com\celiac PreGame meeting Additional gluten-free foods at concession stands
  17. Never eaten at these but here are some I found on the Find Me Gluten Fee app John's Pizza for gluten-free pizza - Jersey City Fire & Oak - Jersey City Stack's Pancake House - Hoboken (next town over - available by some Light rail lines) Bin 14 - Hoboken Hudson Tavern - Hoboken
  18. Anyone know if they are stil offering gluten-free bread at Subway. I knew they were test marketing it. And if they are what specific locations?
  19. Only have had issues with Daura as the other posted stated.
  20. Never found Reese's Pieces to contain gluten ever.
  21. Yes, we can enjoy it being trendy but trends end. Our dietary restrictions do not. I stopped watching The Today Show when they fired Ann Curry and replaced her with Savannah Guthrie. During a story on the gluten free trend she called celiac disease a trendy disease and roll her eyes. I've tweeted her for to make a public apology and wrote a complaint...
  22. I have never seen the normal PB cups list wheat in their ingredients. The whole issue with these is in the past is some of the seasonal shaped (Christmas trees / Easter Eggs etc) have had wheat in them. However, recently I have not even come across those either. I always read the labels on the season ones due to the past history. This is there CYA on...
  23. I disagree with the comment on Chili's jumping on the new gluten-free bandwagon. They have been offering it for years. Now I do agree that there could be cross contamination issues based on the restaurant and training.
