  1. I've never made it that way and not even sure it would work. I would think the pasta would get overcooked.
  2. Ohhhh! It's on HERE! I thought you meant on TV. I haven't seen it on here.
  3. He sounds like an idiot! And it is people like that who are not helping us any.
  4. This says only the wings are gluten-free. Open Original Shared Link
  5. Chat rooms can be a pain. I used to run one. It was fine for a while, then the kids found it. I didn't have the time to babysit it all the time. As I see it there are two options. Make it for registered users only or have moderators around the clock. Also free chat rooms seem to be hard to come by these days. But you never know. Maybe it could...
  6. Thanks!
  7. My daughter ate a rather limited diet at that age. She was however a little overweight so I didn't worry about it.
  8. Some places do a take and bake. I can't personally see the appeal.
  9. Okay, thanks!
  10. Ah, okay. Thanks!
  11. I've never eaten Thai food in a restaurant. I have had it made by a neighbor who is Thai, but what she made was maybe not even authentic Thai. I have looked at menus online and some of it does use soy sauce. Soy sauce can contain wheat. So not safe. I do not think Japanese food is safe either! Unless you eat only a lettuce salad with no dressing...
  12. Sorry, I don't know what these foods are. What are they and where can you get them? Do they have a website? I tried Googling and only got a website with a book for a diet.
  13. I make a yummy pasta salad. No actual recipe. It contains tri-color quinoa pasta, cooked, rinsed and cooled. Then grape tomatoes, sliced green onion, olives, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, cucumbers and radishes, sliced, baby carrots, sliced celery and any other raw veggies you like. Cubes of Swiss cheese and slices of hard salami cut into strips are also...
  14. That's what I'd use too. AKA sweet rice flour.
  15. Daughter will be going there for a dance convention and we will be staying there. Yes, we are not that far away but after going to the convention in Bellevue and not being able to get enough sleep from the commute time, we opted just to stay. They do have a restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast and lunch. Not sure if it will be open on Sunday...
  16. Yay! Found it there today. Too bad we had to buy two. Now watch daughter not like it. I have been buying their regular organic white bread for me but I gave up on it after the last two times with the bread being all dried out yet not expired. It was so crumbly I couldn't use it. I hope this stuff if better!
  17. I guess you got lucky. The Chevy's here was just nasty. It's closed now. I've eaten at two other ones in CA and never once got anything that tasted good.
  18. The first recipe listed here by Gordon Ramsay: Open Original Shared Link I used Yukon Gold potatoes for it. Have also made something similar with a recipe that a friend gave me. The onions are not cooked first and it uses vegetable broth. Both are very good. Vegan stuffed potatoes. I start with big baking potatoes. For each two that I bake,...
  19. At that age I often sent in a thermos for my daughter. She loved soup. Especially tomato. I also got her a chip and dip set. I would fill the middle with hummus or cheese dip or maybe ranch dressing or bean dip. The outside held baby carrots, or tiny corn chips. Costco sells individual tubs of hummus. Or I would get shelf stable ones from minimus...
  20. Thanks! She has been on the adult dose of medicines for a couple of years now because of her size. I just didn't know if the RDA for vitamins was different for teens. But if she could take the same vitamins that I do, that would help a great deal. The Costco vitmamins are cheap!
  21. I don't know what it could be, but... I had something like that late last night/early this morning. And I don't have issues with gluten. I did eat dairy twice yesterday so I thought it might be that. I outgrew a dairy allergy. I can have it now but I am supposed to limit what I eat. There has also been a stomach bug going on around here. Perhaps...
  22. Thanks! Are they made specifically for teens? Or do you use the adult ones?
  23. That is just too funny!
  24. I've never heard of that but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't take them. She has nixed any chewable I've ever bought for her. Even as a small child. She has been swallowing pills since she was 2.
