    I have OAS too. I react to honeydew and cantaloupe. this is related to my ragweed allergy.     I have sucessfully stopped my BP medication scince going on it.. Ok so I didn't really take it often, but my doc has stopped demanding that I take it. My Bp was always sorta high, but this past time it was perfect.

    OMG!! My best friend got married in that exact dress!! She had it in rum/ ivory. Gorgeous. I have to say, it's your day, spend as much money as you feel comfortable, and if it takes 3 dress purchases to get the right one, then so be it.

    I too am from NEPA and live in Harrisburg now. I agree with Amanda with the grainless baker, they have awesome stuff. Also would check out wegmans. They stock gluten free items. I have heard that there may be a restraunt in philly or baltimore that has gluten free pizza, I don't know the details, but I'll look into it.

    I have heard that a Gluten-free Casein-free diet helps autisic children come out of thier shell, so I wonder if it could be causing minor smiliar effects.

    I didn't see k-toos at Wegmans. I saw them in giant, now I can't find them in Giant! I am annoyed. I took today and friday off, so I have a 5 day weekend up home to relax and help my parents.     I would write a letter to the owner / corporate office to complain. Perhaps include information on celiac and recommend more training of cooks and servers. Emphasize that you got sick, and if they don't know what gluten free is, and cannot train their employees to know what Gluten free is, they should not tell people it offers anything gluten free.

    The Gastro will probally want to do an Endoscopy(small intestine) on you. He may want to do a colonoscopy(large intesine) just to check things out, but to biopsy with Celiac, it's an endoscopy.     My parents are trying to move to Kauai this fall for thier retirement! My mom loves that they are so relaxed! She loves to say "In hawaii you need 2 pairs of shoes, everyday flip flops and church flip flops, you can get them both for under 10 bucks!"     Hey all, my dad came home yesterday. They say they don't actually think it is a stroke, they are just going on the assumption that his BP medication was too high and this new medication they put him on interacted with some other medication he was on, and he got disoriented and dizzy.     It's day 3 and they still have no answers on what happened. They arn't even sure that it was a stroke anymore. They ran lots and lots of tests, and the best they can say is they think that some drug he was taking interfered with another drug, and caused his blood pressure to drop and loose his balance. They arn't addressing the fact he has no memory of monday...
