  1. I noticed last night, Starburst says the same thing!
  2. ACK! If i HAD to do a Gluten Challenge, I'd want to at least enjoy the taste of it...!
  3. I e-mailed them about some more Items: This was there reponse Thank you for your interest in Clinique. While a formulation may contain no wheat, oat, barley or rye derivatives, for the benefit of our gluten-sensitive consumers who may have cross-sensitivities, Clinique takes the extra precaution of including corn, rice and soy in our research...
  4. One restraunt gave me a gluten-free option of a Salad with Cornbread Crutons... with breaded chicken. I obviously had to tell them they need to find out what gluten-free was, and just because it's a salad it's not gluten-free.
  5. My mom gets that, she says it's her "Fibro pain". I used to get smaller aches...nothing too painful, just an ache in a joint and it would move hour by hour around my body. That has stopped mostly scince going gluten-free. My mom says she was like me for years before the fibro really hit home. My mom STILL won't get tested for Celiac.
  6. First off, I'd like to welcome you, as somone who has battled mental health issues for the past 10 years I know how intimidating this diet and disease can seem when your dealing with everything else. I don't have nearly as many issues as you have, I basically have depression (mildly bi-polar) and anxiety. I have come to believe that my celiac was set off...
  7. Probally about 6-8 monthes before diagnosis I had problems with heartburn. It was really starting to get to me. I was using Zantac to help with that. I noticed last week that I rarely get that anymore, infact the only time I get it is when I go hog crazy on the vinigar in my salad. (I'm a vinegar fiend). This says alot being that I eat quite a bit of mexican...
  8. That was some of what I was looking at getting, I am not 100% that my current shampoo is gluten-free, It lists none, but you never know! I am bummed however that the face lotion that provides SPF 15 Protection and Sunless Tanning is not on the list. The Body version is, but the face isnt' I may have to look into clinique's to see if that is ok...
  9. Hrm... The number to contact 1 866 707 2100. I There was something in the liquid cleanser that i couldn't have then, i had to get the bar mild soap. I want to get a set, just scared to buy it and have like 20 things i can't use.
  10. Were they in the Frozen Gluten free area or the regular frozen food area?
  11. I'm sure Amanda will know something, she works there. I'd also be interested in knowing. I haven't seen a GI and I might concider going if it's not a waste.
  12. I just bought "Superbalanced Makeup" and that's ingedients are on the box, But the "Calming Cleanser" has the ingedients on the tube itself. I'm in the US, and as long as I remember there has always been ingredients listed. I would contact clinique to be safest, wonder if they change inactive ingredients between countries?
  13. All the stuff I've seen it is has been right in the ingerdient list, not hidden at all. I think I saw it in the Liquid mild soap.. I did a post last week on Clinique products and the phone number to call to check the stuff out is in there. They also check for soy, corn, and rice.
  14. I agree they are VERY common, I had to throw out so many products I had with it. I just think that if they are going to use oats, it will probally list it as it's a good selling point or have it as a main incredient, not hidden under terms "fragrance" or something as a filler. I have seen barley listed in quite a few clinique products, that kind of...
  15. I e-mailed Neutrogena about their list as ones I found on here were kinda old. Here is one I got Today, posting it for others. I noticed this says "Wheat Free", so I am still going to check the ingredient lists for Barley or Oats, but I feel if they are going to have some sort of hidden additive it probally will be wheat and not barely or oats. Dear...
  16. Here is some info I found Open Original Shared Link I don't avoid honeydew and Cantalope too much, I eat around it in fruit salad, usally have once piece and that's it. I do avoid things with thier juice (italian ice) or LOTS of it. I also carry an inhaler for asthma and make sure I have that on me, just incase. As the article explains it's not an...
  17. I understand how it's hard to take the milk out, I at first started just with dairy, but I've gotten to a point that I took a Centrum Vitamin (they have milk in them) and got sick.
  18. Too Cute! It almost makes me want kids... ok maybe not... but it makes me concider babysitting other people's kids!
  19. How about Cinnimon Apples? Take apple, cut out core but leave it whole. sprinkle sugar and cinnimon inside, bake until soggy - give ot take 20 min, cover in rum frosting (rum flavoring, powdered sugar, tiny bit of water/milk), and eat!
  20. I had these last weekend, they were good and I had no aftertaste that I noticed. I have some left over, next time I will look for it. On the tingling note however, this is how I normally react to cantalope and honeydew. That allergy is a cross over oral allergy related to my hayfever (ragweed). Perhaps you are reacting to the fruit though another...
  21. i don't know about the cake but the frosting is easy, you can just use shortening and sugar, just use water or soy milk to add little bit of water. you don't need much.
  22. I have heard their fruit cup is, as well as some beverages. but other than that... not holding out much hope.
  23. Some doctors don't offer it thinking people don't like having to deal with where it goes, (eww..down there!) Others just don't think of it when thinking about pills. Some doctors may just not be up to speed with what is out there. i had to approach my doctor about it, but that was 4 years ago when it was new to the market. I know back then, if you...
  24. I REALLY REALLY suggest nuva ring. it's not an oral medication, so it does not effect our diet, also if we get glutened or some sort of diestional problems, it's not going to go right through us before it is fully dissoved. It has lower amounts of hormones that are delivered locally so hormones don't effect you as much. also i love the fact I have to think...
  25. Have you tried cutting dairy out also? When I went Gluten free and for a bout a week and a half i felt better, but then i went right back... Dairy. September is a long time to wait, I'd call and see if you can talk them into a closer apptment. I would be worried about the weight loss, that much that quickly is just bad.
