    I am so sorry for your loss. She was the same age my Mom was when she 'went home' to join my twin brother. That thought gave me great comfort at the time. It is always so hard to miss someone you love. I'm so sorry it is always so hard on those left behind.

    I used Carnation Instant Breakfast Powder, check and make sure you know which ones are still gluten free as I haven't used it in a while.     Your gut will produce copious quantities of mucous to try and protect a toxin from getting through. Have you had any other symptoms of a glutening? How much pain are you in? If you are not showing signs of a glutening and are in pain I would think about contacting the doctor if it continues or is accompanied by blood and cramping.

    On the Prilosec issue, ask the pharmacist for the leaflet that comes with the drug, there should be a phone number you can call on that. Generics can be risky. St. Joesphs baby asprin is for sure gluten-free, I take it anytime I need an analgesic.
