  1. Only one person can do it. It's okay to double post in a thread, though, Little_C.
  2. My Aunt and I bought some Shirataki Noodles (noodle shaped tofu). I ate them last night with some Ragu and I got sick! They tasted okay but they made me feel bad and my body did not digest them. I will not buy them again.
  3. Hi! I would suggest going to an Outback Steak House if you have a car or can use the public transportation. Just ask for their gluten-free menu and I have found most servers to be familiar with it- if not ask for one who is or speak to a manager. Goood luck, JMD3! Kristina Marie
  4. Aw, that's very nice, Angie!

What is this cookoff and when is it? Thank you.
  7. How exciting, JennyJ. Good luck, Bruce!
  8. It sounds to me like you could look to vegan recipes and such for ideas. Tofu could be added to your meals but just look up some recipies and I am sure you can find some non-boring meals/desserts for you! Good luck, Richard!
  9. I get sick from Fritos and felt ill during a day I ate taco shells. Are you using gluten-free products? Also, when I was trying to find gluten-free cornmeal for cooking I had a terrible time locating some since cross-contamination is a big issue. So, I assume that companies do not go as far as I did and use cornmeal regardless of cross-contamination issues...
  10. It sounds like it's time for you to start taking care of yourself, Jodi. Being gluten-free does not have to be limiting. Good luck and I hope you feel better! Kristina Marie
  11. Yes, I have reactions to casein like I do to gluten.
  12. Please, respond to the link provided because this is a duplicate post, Open Original Shared Link.
  13. Different companies have different ingredients and policies. You should always call or write companies to see if they are gluten-free. Good luck and good job on bringing you own food and having fun and I am sorry you got sick, WalkterS. Kristina Marie
  14. I think gluten intolerant sounds nice.
  15. Open Original Shared Link I love Risotteria. If you do a quick search on this message board you will find tons of places to eat. Also, check out the link above! Good luck to you and your friend, Miamia! Kristina Marie
  16. I am glad this makes sense then. Thank you everyone for your answers!
  17. Congratulations, Tom, on two years gluten-free!
  18. If she does better without certain food whether it be casein, gluten, or honey why let her eat them just because she does not have a diagnosed problem with them? Something is making her react that way. Maybe she has a food intolerance. I personally would not have a problem making her eat gluten-free if it helped her even though she did not have a diagnosis...
  19. If you have a positive blood test why go any further? I trust my blood test and the diet. My brother did a biopsy after his blood test came back positive and it came back positive, too. Good luck to you.
  20. That's a pretty good idea, GreySaber.
  21. Thank you, ChocolateLover.
  22. Well, to start with you can always make things that are naturally gluten-free while you get used to the do's, don'ts, and the tastes-bads. Some stores have cheat-sheets but you still have to read the lable- that is essential! For bread the consensus is Kinnikinnick brand. For other things that everyone can eat and might like: I enjoy Lundberg brand Risotto...
  23. I am sorry, BlueEyedManda. Good luck, Lucky!
