  7. I'd like to remind everyone to stay on topic. If anyone wishes to discuss how people raise their non-Celiac children, the rate at which Celiac mothers give birth to Celiac children, or whole grain issues then please make new threads and I am sure many will participate. Thank you!

  10. It has taken me years to bring my anxiety down and it still isn't gone! Things do get better.
  11. Which class are you doing this for? I do not live on my campus, so, I do not have to deal with eating there. However, I did go on a five week study abroad (through a USA university) to Spain and had to pay for a "meal plan" (this included 7 days of breakfast and 5 days of lunch and dinner) at the Colegio (where we lived and had classes) and ate there for...
  12. I do not think two months is enough time to heal. If you want to heal you should not risk anything just to see what would happen.
  13. Just avoid liquids on board. You can check them, though.
  14. I use Bob's Red Mill mixes. I am a vegan, so, I use egg replacers (either flax seed or ener-g) and soy milk. My breads have always come out great.

  18. Open Original Shared Link So good! My Mom and I ate there! They BAKE their sweet potato fires, so, they are okay for us! I had a wrap without the wrap and it was so good. My Mom had a salad and it was huge. They can do a lot for us! Check them out- right on the square!
  19. I had the same concern flying to Europe over the summer because I am a vegan Celiac. You can take your own food, except liquids. So, just take your own! On the flight I brought apples and fruit bars and I also took with me more fruit bars, noodles, and other simple items to have during my trip in case I couldn't find food to buy on a particular day. Australia...
  20. Any malt and non-defined food starch ingredients need to be worried about.
  21. She is by Kroger stores. They usually have a lot of gluten-free food and will order more.
  22. I am a gluten-free vegan. If you know what you need to avoid then life is easy. There might not be as many options for us but we can be healthy and thrive. Vegiac.com is a great resource and there are many gluten-free vegetarian cookbooks. Good luck!
  23. Lactaid should not help with casein because they are different things. I am casein-free and feel soooooooooooo much better. If it is causing you and your son pain then you should listen to your bodies. Good luck.
  24. Aw, that's a great reply.
  25. I received a bread maker for Christmas and would like to make GRAPE JAM but cannot find a recipe. Anyone know one?
