  18. Great question, as there have been studies to show that meat from grain-fed beef is gluten-free: I suspect that there must have been cross-contamination, and there could be many avenues for this, but it does make one wonder if it isn't better to grind your own beef?

Low vitamin D can definitely contribute to fatigue, muscle weakness, and bone pain, which might explain some of what you're experiencing.   23. More research is being done in this area, but much more needs to be done. Cross-reactivity is well known: and the fact that certain oat varieties seem to also trigger reactions in some but not all people with celiac disease is also well known (and the G12 test can detect this type of oats, which is new news to me).
  24. I'm not sure about the absorption difference, but I've been taking Citracal Maximum Plus from Costco for years now, but my gut healed decades ago, so I guess this would depend on how long you've been gluten-free.
