  3. Hey, don't throw them out...throw them in the freezer, then later on make a pie crust with the crumbs. Not a waste at all. I made a bad batch of cookies once and picked out all the chips then saved the crumbs for pie crust. Or you could just break up the cookies and sprinkle them on ice cream, pudding, yogurt, cereal....

I am thankful for Jesus Christ my Savior...without Him we would have no "Christ"mas and no eternal life I am thankful for my washer....it was broken for 5 months, fixed yesterday, and now I can wash clothes at home again! I am thankful for my 2 gluten-free daughters and that I can make gluten-free food for them even though they live over an hour...
  9. I dust the bag with a spoonful of any kind of gluten-free flour, then poke holes in the top of the bag, after you put the turkey in it, or it blows up like a balloon.

  12. Yolo, I have used oil of oregano for an on coming cold, earache and a bad tooth. Just a couple of drops on the tongue. Never had to go to the doc/dentist...Its great! I always wanted to try the GSE.
  13. I want to make scented pine cones next year. My mom called a couple of craft stores and they didn't have the cinnamon oil or cinnamon chips.   14. If you google on the web, flourless cookie recipes, you will find more, there are some for chocolate cookies. I always keep my eye opened for chocolate goodies!

  19. My family likes breakfast burritos on white corn tortillas. You could speed things up by cooking meats the day before and reheating. Prechop any veggies.   20. Carol's gluten-free flour mix: 1 1/2 cups sorghum 1 1/2 cups potato starch or cornstarch 1 cup tapioca flour I use cornstarch b/c I can get it at the grocery store and cheaper. Potato starch is an extra trip to the health food store Not sure which is better but you can use either one or some of each.
  21. Have you heard of Smokey Rolls? If you have a good roll recipe, just wrap the roll dough around a "little smokey" and bake.
  22. Cookies for breakfast experiment (yummy taste test) I frosted some cookies and kept in a container. The cookies I didn't flatten with a glass are softer but they were before I frosted them. The cookies I flattened with a glass were still crunchy. The unfrosted cookies in the same container still had a crunch. Shortening might give them a better crunch...
