I forgot to mention also trying enzymes/probiotics to help digest that food as well. years ago when a friend had un-digested food a doctor told her to try 2tbsp vinegar & in a 8oz glass of water .... it worked for her! mamaw

I don't have an answer but I know when one eats heavy ,starchy foods they bloat more. Have you tried grazing instead of three big meals a day? Grazing has become a way of life for many...... mamaw

A wheat allergy is just that --- an allergy. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease. I believe it said wheat allergy. I stay away from wheat grass , barley grass per my doctor. Some say it is okay because it is cultivated before the flower appears. I would not take a chance... hth mamaw -

Hello Any scratched pots & pans or utensils will need to be replaced...wooden spoons , plastics, anything porous needs to be replaced. Toaster, mixer, bread maker & things like that.. there is no way to clean gluten from the mixer vents or a toaster. I at times still use reg flour to bake for family who are not gluten-free .... SHe is exactly the same but her eating habits are going to be different to the extent that other grains will be used to replace wheat. By telling her she cannot eat like other kids will cause emotional issues. & stress.. Our grandkids stated being gluten... -

I find when I buy the crackers at Whole Foods they are more intact. But much cheaper at Amazon.... but many are broken. I think it is the way they are tossed around in the warehouse. Amazon handles so much of everything. I guess you get more whole crackers by buying at the store level or you buy at a better price & eat broken crackers!!!!! What a choice... -
I can't help you out but why don't you make her a birthday cake. They are not hard & there are several recipes in the recipe section....making a gluten-free cake would make her feel so special...... Hope she has a happy 70th blessings mamaw
