Most folks can not digest corn. I other words ( not a pleasant venture but corn is almost always still in the kernel form when it gets to the poopy stage! Common for everyone not just celiac people. For some unknown reason many of us have experienced your next question. Eating a gluten-free food with no problem then again & having issues. The only... -

Wehn I went gluten-free years ago no one was... -
ARCHIVED Unable To Maintain Gluten-free Diet
mamaw replied to Zachnap's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hello First off let me say you will not get to feeling better overnight. For a few they do experience almost instant relief but for most it is a lenghty trip... I always tell my gluten-free group members that it didn't happen in a day & it will not leave in a day. Many have ups & downs often. Other factors can play into health issues ie: lack of... -
ARCHIVED My Dr's Appointment Today..hhmmm...
mamaw replied to foodiegurl's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
You have the right to have copies of all your lab work, surgeries & so on. I would ask for copies of everything you have done that way you can reference back to see if things are improving. And the doctor should tell you what you are being tested for not just give you some vague answer. If they are not willing to explain & give copies of your results... -

I'm not a pro on this subject to say the least but first off not all probiotics are created equal! We take Dr O'hirra's professional formula. This is the only one that I notice a difference with. Plus you could try kefir. Daily enzymes are good as well. Now to your salad & wine. Never rule out gluten hiding in strange places.. Just because you just...

Sounds like torture to me! It really a decision you will have to make on your own. For some they need that doctor seal of a dx's , others don't care that they have that & they accept that feeling better without wheat is good enough for them. You be the judge. As an adult if I tried gluten-free & felt much better I would not go back eating wheat...

If I'm reading your post correctly , you were told in 07 you had celiac???? Now you are being retested because you are not feeling better? If you have been gluten-free for all this time & are now being tested your results will not be accurate or correct... Have you checked out allergies to other foods ie: nightshade vegetables, corn, soy, MSG, Food colorings... -
Hi Tim I have eaten at hotel breakfast many times. You are right lots of wheat things. I usually take my toasta bag with me & make an eng muffin, bagel or toast.
