  2. You might have to start making your own sauces and such. Unless you are pretty well off, eating only boxed and canned gluten-free foods (especially pasta/breads/cakes/etc) is not financially feasible over the long term.
  3. So if it is anti-mothed, does that meas it's been Godzilled?
  4. Yes. It can have gluten in it. Barley, Barley malt, germinated wheat, all sorts of fun stuff. A lot of the Celestial Seasonings teas are tested for gluten and labelled gluten free.
  5. My GI issues with BM were also random. Time, urgency, frequency, consistency, there was nothing the was the same it seemed like. The only thing I never had was constipation.

  12. I know it isn't funny jenn, but in a way it is - only on this forum could you find someone worrying about being intolerant of their carpet!!!!! I know that I only react to stuff I eat or inhale into my mouth (drywall dust has wheat starch in it)....so...I guess the question would be what about the carpet dust? How intolerant are you of corn?

Acid and enzymes in your stomach break down protein and fats and some carbs. Bacteria in your small intestine breaks down more carbs. Nutrients from the protein and fat, along with the bacterial waste (in the form of...

  18. My Dr. & my GI suggested PB8. I did quite a bit of research and started taking it. That plus three months - or maybe it was four - on the strictest GAPS diet did wonders. GAPS is based on research into 'Gut And Psychology Syndrome'. I'll oversimplify, but basically you remove all processed foods, grains, and sugars of all kinds and most dairy. Fermented...
  19. GI Repair Kit? Sounds questionable to me. The best 'GI Repair Kit' I found was a good probiotic and three months on the strict GAPS diet.
  20. <cliche mode=on>You're back on track! Today is the first day of the rest of your life!<cliche mode=off /> I understand. I have the same problem with cake or brownies. I literally can't eat even one. If there is a pan of them or a cake around I eat one, I can't. I just eat and eat it till it's gone. It is horrible! I'll sneak them when my wife...

  22. Really good point +1 Statin's (cholesterol meds) are some of the worst too! And anti-biotics kill off good and bad bacterials which means the good ones that produce/extract vitamins from carbs.
  23. Mercy Mercy Me - Marvin Gaye -- Mine are mostly coming from my collection. I was just curious
  24. *nicely played!* How Sweet It Is - James Taylor -- Question: How many people are pull names from songs only in their personal music collections?
  25. My Dad had life-long "psoriasis". It cleared up permanently within a couple months going gluten free after his diagnosis. I think now it was probably DH.
