    I have had enough problems with the crazy doctors over the past few years and if they don't give you a blood test you tell them to give you one or tell them you will find another doctor.     When glutened I usually have a lot of trouble getting to sleep and then wake up alot throughout the night. I am also sleepy no matter how much sleep I get when I am glutened.

    There has been debate on whether if you are gluten intolerant without the gene and do not follow the diet whether it can turn into celiac. I personally think it can. I think if your body is against it and you keep feeding it to your body then your body will eventually say no more. It's also been looked at on whether you can get celiac without the gene....

    Kraft will list wheat,rye,barley,oats clearly on the label. If it does not have 1 of those 4 ingredients than it is safe. It will not hide anything even under otherwise questionable ingredients.

    Celestial Seasonings will put gluten free right on the box for the ones that are. As for coffees, I believe I have run across ones that are flavored that have gluten but that was only 1 time a while ago(they could have changed it by now too)...most of the time isn't good enough for celiac though so you will have to check.     I have not seen many with gluten but yes some flavored coffees can so you need to always check ingredients and if in question call the manufacturer.

    Corn pops are most definitely NOT gluten free. Just because you do not get symptoms from a small amount means nothing...it still causes damage even in very small amounts. Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles by Post are gluten free though.

    Symptoms do not necessarily say damage. Some people never get symptoms with celiac but do alot of damage. If your villi heal and then you have a gluten accident the intestines then get damage to them..whether you have symptoms or not the tiniest bit can cause damage.

    He has one of the main genes for celiac. Many people can carry this gene though. It just means you have predisposition for it. If he tested negative chances are it was not triggered yet(unless he did not have the complete panel done or got a false negative) If he is responding well to the diet then keep him on it because it could have been in beginning stages...

    What are the reference ranges on the sheet? Also, it looks like the most specific tests (tTG &EMA) were not done.

    If you get a copy of the results it should say the ranges beside them and then what your level was. Which tests were done? Do you know? The one test you were asking about IgA ser looks like the total serum IgA...that should not have been the only one done so hopefully they did more.     Yea, you can definitely get glutened by kissing so be careful. Have him brush his teeth or mouthwash before kissing you to get all the gluten out. It is especially a risk if he just ate something like bread, etc. that would clearly be in his mouth and transfer in that kind of kissing.     All M&M's except the crispy ones(blue pack) are gluten free Look for Kraft marshmallows because they will not hide any gluten and will clearly indicate it on the label.     First, some people get no symptoms as stated in a previous post. Celiac can not be determined at all by that. The smallest bit will damage you...symptoms vary but damage will come no matter what when we have gluten-in all of us.     Yes A&W rootbeer is gluten free However, drinks can contain gluten so keep an eye out for that. Gluten can be in pretty much anything.

    I would see which tests were run because some can come out to be a false negative. Also, why not just try the diet to see if you feel better? You have nothing to lose by that.     The longer someone goes undiagnosed the more problems usually arise. The damage that is done can wreck havoc on any part of the body. So basically if you don't follow the diet or have gone a long time getting the damage is where you see other problems come in.
