  1. That's a real shame. Now, if you want to test her for Celiac, she will have to go back on gluten for an extended time. It would have been so easy for them to do the blood test......
  2. Well... If you have Celiac disease, you should consider getting tested for it. Then that question would be answered. Most, maybe not all, but most, people with Celiac disease will gain weight once they have started healing and are now able to absorb nutrition.
  3. Open Original Shared Link "....Daily water fluctuations, which are more common in women because of hormonal changes throughout the month, are one of the main reasons that I tell my patients not to weigh themselves every day, ...."
  4. The gluten free diet isn't about weight loss. A couple of pounds difference in weight every day is normal. If you are severely limiting your calories, you might not be getting the vitamins you need and that can lead to hair loss and fatigue.
  5. I have no idea! I have never seen something that says " less than whatever whatever of gluten". Gluten free is considered under 20 ppm. Perhaps if you told us exactly what it said? Edit - or what product it is?
  6. I don't really know what part of the wheat it's made of, but I use clay litter and it seems to float in the air a bit. Maybe you got some from the air?
  7. when I read the title, I thought you forgot to tell us something! Lol It is nice to have a completely safe party. That's why I get stuck with Xmas, Thanksgiving, Etc in our family!

  9. To me that is negative. That doesn't mean that you can never have Celiac. It just doesn't look like you have it right now.
  10. Who made this food? If it was a restauruant, then who knows wht was really in it. Before you completely eliminate these things, maybe try eating just some tomato sauce you make at home? Try the single ingredient and see if it bothers you. I would hate for you to eliminate so many foods because a restaurant forgot and made gluten-free pasta in gluteny...
  11. Were you gluten free when you had your blood tested?
  12. Maybe this would apply? Open Original Shared Link
  13. Just looked in my freezer - sometimes I microwave some breakfast sausages. I like the applegate ones but there are cheaper gluten-free ones.
  14. Missed the dairy free part, sorry. There are coconut and almond milk yogurts. And you could use almond milk on cereal.
  15. You could eat anything for breakfast. Left- overs from dinner, a Peanut butter sandwich, etc. But some traditional foods: gluten-free instant oatmeal, cereals like Chex and gluten-free Special K, Kind, Udi's. Luna, etc protein/ granola bars, Udis muffins, Vans or Eggo frozen waffles, toast with peanut or almond butters or Nutella, fruit and yogurt....
  16. I only get the Seven Grain one and it is never doughy. It is like a whole wheat and, if anything, a bit dry. I bet if you message them on Fb or email they will want to know.
  17. I think you should quiz the doctors thoroughly. I don't understand the comment that they told you that gluten is in your antibodies. You tested negative - so there aren't any antibodies and the gluten isn't inside them. I think they want to treat you for something, but I don't think you are understanding the full scope of what the problem is. I'mglad...
  18. I suppose it depends on the type of water retention you have? Or if it's really water retention? If your ankles and calves are swollen up significantly, you might want to see a cardiologist. If you are talking about intestinal bloating, that's peobably not water retention. Some people find stomach meds like Pepto Bismol or ???? (The name just went out...
  19. If you are eating gluten free for the last 3 years, you shouldn't have antibodies to gluten. Therefore, the tests should be negative. You need to be eating gluten for an extended period of time for your body to make enough to show up in the current blood tests, Did you originally have positive blood work or endoscopy for Celiac? Maybe you don't have...
  20. Haven't tried all the flavors. But even the gluten eaters here have liked the plain or garlic? Flavors. Very close to a Ritz like texture.
  21. If you have Celiac, you need to be very careful. Even if you think you aren't noticing any issues, you are still having damage. You may realize after a few months of gluten-free that things you didn't think of are better- for example- no more canker sores, less headaches, less acne, etc. " The gluten-free diet is a lifetime requirement. Eating any gluten...
  22. They look like this Open Original Shared Link And according to my original post - it just said something about spring roll-out
  23. Most mouthwash, in the USA, does not contain gluten. What mouthwash have you found with gluten? The person you are replying to posted that 4 years ago and I don't think they are still around the forum.
  24. Yoga is a really really good idea. Try to find a gentle yoga or gentle stretch yoga. Or a yoga for seniors. Even if you aren't a " senior" they will welcome you. Yoga for seniors tends to take into account things like arthritis, etc. I went to one when first diagnosed with Celiac because I was a mess. I still go because I have made friends and I love...
  25. I am not sure the people who were told they might have MS are still on ( I don't remember who they are) but there were several. After their Celiac diagnosis - no MS! Weird.......
