  1. I just got this from Sensodyne. It's a bit of a CYA statement. But looks gluten-free. Dear Ms. G Thank you for your inquiry regarding presence of gluten and related products in Sensodyne and Pronamel range of oral products. Sensodyne Iso-Active toothpastes in an aerosol can
  2. Here's a topic on this very thing from 2 days ago with some links to other budget discussions. It may have to be a new way of eating for everyone in the family. Sounds like, even if gluten-free wasn't an issue, you would still have an extremely tight food budget. No more chips, bottled juices, etc. Rice, beans and some corn is an easy &...
  3. Why do you think Uno's is serving dressing with gluten and saying it gluten free?
  4. I thought that about the pizza parlor one, too. If she had brought a discreet lunch from home, they probably wouldn't have said anything. Instead, she brings in the McDonalds bag, advertising another restauraunt. Plus, I don't know how they could argue that the kid "needed" fries for his health.
  5. A Saluki? We knew someone who had 2. They are really fast. They could keep up with A full speed horse. Open Original Shared Link
  6. The only videos I have seen are not very accurate. If they will read, try this: Open Original Shared Link
  7. Please notice that all of the posts about products are over 6 years old. Products and manufacturing practices could have changed in that amount of time.

    ARCHIVED Dairy Queen

I eat ice cream at DQ with no issues. I don't try those mix-ins because they have some gluten mix- ins ( Blizzard?)like Oreos, but the ice cream and toppings like fudge should be good. However, anything is possible. Could have nothing to do with gluten. Sometimes, we just don't know.
  9. Please post the answer when you get it. It worries me that they may have a mix- up.
  10. On line they look Ok.will be curious to hear what they say. Very odd. Open Original Shared Link
  11. I know what GFreeMo means but just for someone reading this: Soy doesn't have gluten. Some people have problems with soy. GFreeMo just gets the same symptoms from soy as she does to gluten. I eat capers and I get the same bloating, gas, etc as I do from gluten. No gluten in them, just me. Carry-on.
  12. Sounds like thier behinds are completely covered. I would use it.
  13. I agree with Ravenwood. You seem to be saying you ate some gluten coated fish but blaming the glutening on other foods. Until you have really been gluten free for at least a few months, the diet won't help. It isn't a gluten-free diet during the day and gluten at night.
  14. Ok. I'm back! Look at these for some ideas. Just remember that any info about a specific product that's more than a year old should be checked. Meaning, 2 years ago, someone said that XYZ rice Cakes were gluten-free but they may have changed the ingredients since then. So read labels. They will send you a package...
  15. We have had many threads on gluten-free on a budget. Look around the sight for food ideas. I'll see if I can find a few and put the link here.
  16. I got some in a gift box from the Univ of Chicago Celiac Center. If its not gluten-free, the Celiac Center just made many people sick! What a way to drum up business!
  17. This list is for Canada. Products may be different in the US, UK, etc
  18. Just looked. Even the expensive teas are in tea bags. Bigelow was the one I was trying to remember
  19. You know, I never looked for loose tea at the grocery, lately. Maybe ask Lipton and celestial sEasonings & the one I can't think of right now.... I'm going to the store soon, I'll look.
  20. I would ask them for an explanation. Or call different tea companies. This s from Wikipedia so you might want to research it further. "Tea bag paper is related to paper found in milk and coffee filters and is a blend of wood and vegetable fibers. The vegetable fiber is bleached pulp abaca hemp, a small plantation tree grown for its fiber, mostly...
  21. Are there forums for people who can't have corn? Maybe they can give some actual evidence of the corn in the tea bag?
  22. Read the ingredients. Kraft will clearly disclose all forms of gluten.
  23. wondering about how there is corn in a tea bag but... just use loose tea.
  24. Might want to find out what he is avoiding at school. The other thing is, no activities, like baseball, if you are sick. No birthday party, no soccer, etc. Maybe sick food shouldn't be "fun" either. No Sprite or Gatorade, just water. Its best for an upset stomach. Could try being honest. Tell him your not sure he is really sick. You think he...
