  3. Weren't they called " Dispensations"? Pay money to get your sins forgiven. Volcanic rock? Now we have to worry you will be carried away by lava?
  4. Just call tomorrow and tell the main desk you need a copy. They will probably send your call to someone who takes care of that. Tell them you need to pick up a copy asap. If they ask why, tell them you need to run them by a Celiac expert/ another doctor or the school nurse. This should work. They may ask you to give them a day. That is reasonable....
  5. If the restaurant fries it's own chips, they are likely not gluten-free. They probably use the same oil for onion rings or frying flour tortilla things ( chimi?) You will learn to keep food with you. Even a pack of nuts or a Lara bar so you don't get into these situations, again.
  6. Consider the place you ordered food from. Some have good luck with the local Chilis. The ones here always have a revolving door of servers, many under 18. The cooks don't speak English. I have little faith that they are trained in the gluten-free menu or able to take the precautions necessary. They could have grilled the chicken right where they just...

  11. This is something I am trying to figure out. I like the Bobs Red Mill Mighty tasty cereal (a hot cereal). It may take a while for her to heal and get things evened out, too.
  12. Check out www.us first.org. FLL is First Lego League for younger kids. Some of the high schools sponsor these.

  14. Please do not post delicious, fatty & yummy recipes, please! I need to lose weight!
  15. Tried to add this on but didn't work. To the right of the rack that they are hanging the pool toys on, are 2 boys driving the robot. One in a black shirt & one in a grey shirt. J is in the grey shirt.
  16. I think I did it! I must be younger than I look!
  17. Here is psumpthing silly and hilarious. I am trying to put videos on YouTube. I may be too old to successfully post there.
  18. I think I would wait for all your blood work to be normal. No antibodies and normal iron, CBC, B12, calcium & D. As well as get your thyroid checked. Your Ob/GYN would probably want to do those if you go for a check up and talk about getting pregnant. If they don't, get a new OB/GYN. Some of these were standard years ago before getting pregnant...
  19. That's wonderful! We figure that because we don't go out much anymore, if we go to a more expensive place once a month, we come out ahead.
  20. I like to pretend I'm an artist when I do my little projects. Does that count as half a point?
  21. I told M his hair was curling out in the back where it was touching his shoulders. He has agreed to a haircut on Sat. He needs the time to decide how much to get taken off. The long hair is also uncomfortable in his lacrosse helmet. Crossing fingers for you & me.
  22. I haven't seen those fruit things. I like those. I got interrupted earlier - the burgers were coming in from the grill. I was going to say that choc chips worked great for one of my kids. We had the chocolate cure for any booboo or hurt feelings, too. The other would have rather had the fruit things or cereal or skittles. But skittles have a lot...
  23. Ain't this food thing a b$$$$ !
  24. Anyone with inflammation and fluid around their lungs untreated, for years , has a good malpractice case for their family after they die.
  25. I liked the Betty Crocker one. Or make gluten-free Pantry brownies then put ice cream & Carmel or chocolate sauce on top. ( my teen boys fav). For a treat, what about chocolate chips?
