  1. Were you tested for Celiac? Currently, there are no medically accepted tests for non- Celiac gluten intolerance. Gluten doesn't stay in your body and hide. It goes through the GI system just like any other food - so it probably comes out the other side in 24-48 hours. Depending on how slow your system works.
  2. Or try a different recipe.
  3. I lIke gluten-free beer, but I would probably just use water.
  4. Are you seeing some MDs for those serious medical conditions - like Graves and Hasimotos? Getting those diseases treated might make a huge difference to your mental and physical well being. Don't throw more money away on un proven testing.
  5. I don't think sodium laurel sulphite is ever even made from wheat. But even if it were, it seems to be one of those chemicals that has none of the proteins left. But, whether you believe me or not.... I have never seen it listed on any reputable celiac group sites as something to avoid for gluten.
  6. People with Celiac are not supposed to eat regular oats. Regular oats are not gluten free. They must eat gluten free oats.
  7. Looked on-line for ingredients - looks like some flavors might have torula yeast. It should be gluten-free. Kraft is very good about listing if an ingredient comes from wheat. And of course, in the US, it is a law to label wheat.
  8. I just looked at my jar of Planter's dry roasted peanuts and there is nothing but peanuts listed as the ingredient. Only Brewer's yeast is not gluten free.
  9. Total IGA is not a test for Celiac. There are many celiac experts in India if you care to look for them. The next International Celiac Disease Symposium will be held in India. Open Original Shared Link So, perhaps you do not even have Celiac. Maybe you should look for something else?
  10. How long have you been diagnosed and gluten free? How long have you been tube feeding? It isn't normal to need to tube feed for Celiac. It happens very very rarely for extreme damage but isn't a continued thing. Do you have any other diagnosis that contributes to the need for tube feeding? Tube feeding still requires your intestines to be able to...
  11. Don't see gluten in the ingredients I found on- line. Water/Eau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance/Parfum, Sodium Benzoate, Glycol Distearate, Citric Acid, Disodium Edta, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Red 33, Yellow 5
  12. Science teaches us that gluten must be ingested for the reaction to occur in the small intestine.
  13. Ask the doctor's office! But usually you can eat right after if you feel like it. But ask them! Some of them will try to give you crackers, so you may want to bring some gluten-free applesauce or Rice Chex
  14. It is the only thing you have eaten, so it can't be anything else? I eat it with no issues so I am not sure how you can be certain that is the problem. All I am saying is that its sort of "your word against mine and the company's word".
  15. I think the idea of grinding your own at home stems from the thought that flavored coffees might be ground on the same machines. The grinders in the grocery are not cleaned between uses. However, I have not found a flavored coffee bean that had gluten, so it's probably not a real concern. For coffee that comes from a factory ground, I wouldn't worry at...
  16. Of course. Plain coffee - might want to read ingredients if there is anything else added to the coffee
  17. It might not be Celiac, if your tests are negative. Have you been to a doctor and been tested for diabetes or thyroid issues lately? What are your parents doing about your issues? Some things like acne and shin splints might be explained by age or activity, but passing out and depression need to be addressed.
  18. I do est out occasionally - but not indiscriminately. I am careful to choose places that under stand gluten free. And places that the food is naturally gluten-free, helps, too. Celiacs can't just eat something that should be gluten-free and hope it is. We have to use some common sense and ask questions.
  19. I eat them with no issues and know several other Celiacs that eat them with no issue.
  20. I wouldn't spend anymore money on unproven " food intolerance tests". Gluten free foods are wheat and barley free
  21. No! Once you fill the tub, if you sit in it for 3 minutes or you stay for 10... It doesn't change the amount or cost of the water. That's only relevant if you have 3 kids to cycle thru that same water. Is your hub bathing in the same water after you? Lol And even if you add some more hot and stay longer....well...it's much cheaper than perscription meds...
  22. I didn't mean you personally... Of course they don't make bread, or whatever in a dairy "factory". I have seen no real scientific evidence that there is gluten in grain fed milk. If that were the case, I would think that the big Celiac organizations would warn us from eating milk, cheese, cream, etc.
  23. I use any kind of butter. I don't know where cc would come from? You don't make butter in the same place you make other foods.
  24. http://www.cureceliacdisease.org/treatment/
  25. Beer is never gluten free unless it is specially made with gluten free grains. Malt/ barley is not gluten free. Perhaps you should do a little reading about Celiac disease from reputable sources, like the University of Chicago Celiac Center? It sounds like you might not have a good understanding of gluten and Celiac.
