  3. I am wondering if the IC she is referring to would be interstitial cystitis?
  4. the stones (if you have any) could have been growing for at least the 2.5 months since the CT scan. Don't know the average time from start to pain. Is your unrine more concentrated when the sediment occurs? Is it granular, or soft, or mucus? Clean out your diet as much as possible. good luck
  5. geesh.....is there an ED you can go to? the crystal part=drink, drink, drink! But if there are truly significant bacteria, why didn't they consider an antibiotic?

  8. get the written report of the biopsy, so that you can read it yourself.
  9. depending on what form of bypass surgery you had, you may not ever absorb B12 properly again. What was you level? if they didn't run the lab work, have them do it towards the end of the month (since the last shot). if it is as low as I think it might be you may need more frequent shots for a short period of time. Typically every day x5, then weekly x3,...
  10. Talked to a dietician, she pointed out that she isn't working the line where the food is put on the tray. I, in turn, pointed out that it IS her responsiblity to educate the kitchen staff to what is appropriate. Just as I am responsible for the CNAs working with me. I THINK she got the point.
  11. Open Original Shared Link since you don't have insurance, check this out, good luck
  12. makes sense to me.
  13. Dieticians are registered/lic, as far as I know. IF this person is actually a registered dietician he/she needs to be reported to the board of registration/licensing. It would be unethical to NOT report. There is absolutely NO reason for this gross malpractice on the part of the alledged dietician.
  14. actually, no bananas at all. the "amine" typically tied to migraines, is tyramine. You can google a list of high tyramine foods, it is also the list that certain BP meds and some AD meds forbid. No chocolate, citrus fruit, bananas, flat beans, peanuts, red wine, etc.
  15. what is your TSH? as has been pointed out, the newer levels say below 3.
  16. yeah, that much vit D is prob no where near enough, get youself tested, and supplimment from that level. Also, your partner needs to be checked out, and needs to be using only gluten free personal care products as well.

  18. Another stupid doctor - I was diagnosed with breast cancer 8 years ago and went to see a new oncologist. I told him I now had a swelling under my right arm (I was diagnosed with bc on the left side). He told me he would not be able to check the right side because I was referred to him for bc on the left side and that is all he was allowed to look at. stupid...
  19. No lymph nodes on your low back, perhaps fatty tumor, inclusion cyst....
  20. Now I do not plan to write a dissertation on HRT right now. I simply brought it up as an introduction to the biggest, unknown-by-most source of estrogens to women and men- our food. The major sources of estrogens in our diet are our "good friends" dairy products (e.g. cow's milk, cheese), the gluten grains (wheat, barley, rye), and soy (errrrrrh!!!!!). Yes...
  21. you need a new doc.....perhaps check out a narurapath who is an MD???
  22. it would seem, from whatever cause, this will be an ongoing issue. You need to take very good care of you kidneys from this point out. Question any drug given for any reason. good luck
  23. 1) you don't need a dx to take her gluten free. 2) get all lab results and compare, has there been an up tick that still remains in the normal range? 3) Are you short for your gene pool, ie your sibling group, compared to your parets' hgt etc? Good luck
