  8. a wise woman once told me: once you don't lose so much water through D, you don't need as much. you also get water in foods that your body is now digesting better i am not thirsty very much. if i am, i get something to drink - i figure trust my body. if it needs extra fluids, it's gonna let me know.
  9. nope - everyone does *not* have headaches - i used to think that, too, because i had constant headaches. then, poof, it went away after i was gluten free for awhile. i didn't even realize that i had a continual, dull headache until it finally left she is your sister? chances of her having symptoms are pretty high, she may even be afraid of the whole...

  12. yes, eating out is sketchy - you can ask as many questions as you want - ask them if they know what gluten is. most times they come up with some wierd answer........ and people confuse it with glucose, i have found. it took me awhile to heal enough to know when i had a TRUE gluten reaction and not a reaction to something else that was irritating my guts...
  13. cheese ! is my guess, too - if you have alot of damage to your intestines, your villi are also damaged and the tips of the villi is where your body makes the stuff that breaks down dairy, so if villi are damaged enough, you're body isn't making any or enough to digest dairy. you might want to skip the dairy - i think i did it for 6 months - and then re...

  20. many of us (obviously who are female) have had miscarriages - i did, long before i was diagnosed. she is lucky to have a diagnosis and be able to stay healthy and maybe avoid that. no different degrees of celiac - you can't eat gluten, period. you can't be a little bit celiac, or exttremely celiac. so, no "i can have just a little bit" - and it doesn...
  21. maybe she just can't manage it or never had any support? you are already gluten free, i am assuming that you cook, so feed her maybe it's easier to walk into a restaurant with two people and say "WE need to have gluten free" ya know what i mean? if she does commit to it, i bet she feels a whole lot better - many people have had seemingly unrelated symptoms...

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? lolz - they use 'carmine' to color red cherries in...
