notme replied to fatjacksonthecat's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
wow, what recipe did you use? i would love to make that. we make fermented sauerkraut and it is sooooo good and it *is* good for my gut we also make half-sour pickles with just salt, cukes, garlic and dill which are fabulous. but i've not come across a recipe with any flour in it for pickling/fermenting so i was going to suggest just leaving it out but... -

i know it - if their aunt sadie never had it, they don't even pay attention. even if aunt sadie had it, she didn't follow the diet, so they think "aunt sadie was never that careful - once she felt better, she ate cake!" and they think it's overkill. right - it doesn't ruin your day. lolz - 'bro him up' - i will pay attention next time someone 'bro's... -

right - *completely* different than any other reaction i/we have to other foods - when you stay/eat clean enough and are well for a good while, a glutening will be very easy to identify, am i right? not D for a day, say, like when i eat something that irritates my guts or dairy which is gassy and uncomfortable. it starts with a headache, b%$@#iness, tired... -

i actually always wanted to try acupuncture -- i'm going to look around for one and see what their expense is. i live in the sticks, though. i can't even find a decent chiropractor i had one that i liked but the office he worked out of turned into a "pain center" <narcotic dispensing organization) and he quit. i think he was so disgusted he actually... -

notme replied to vallene45's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips

notme replied to Ajapeu's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease

ARCHIVED Soy Lecithin...?
notme replied to Cujy's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
so, once every 3 years, wheat is planted. i suppose, the weather and the rest of the year take care of any excess wheat - also whatever likes to eat wheat would take care of what is left - after all, that is what the point to crop rotation is anyway, right? and corn and soybeans are self contained so the wheat (theoretically, if there even was any to begin... -
