  1. Its a great resource for the not so newly diagnosed too. Thanks, its a great site.
  2. I have not thought about quinoa not being Kosher for Passover, guess I am gonna have to reconsider that. Passover is hard enough and being gluten-free makes it a bit tougher. I am just glad I can eat the oat matzoh. Thanks for the info, time to change the menu for passover.
  3. I am in California and I shop at Winco all the time. Have not seen the gluten-free pasta, but have not really looked. I miss pasta that taste good. Is this in the pasta isle or over the counter? I will then check it out. Thanks.

  6. I am super sensitive and use the cheapest one I can find, 3 for a dollar would be great. I have never had a problem with nail polish remover, though I did have a problem with shampoo and lotion.
  7. I have been glutened by an brand named medication named Xyzal. I could not believe it. I missed the whole month of November 2009, which was the month my Aunt died. I was too sick to go see her before she died and did not go to the funeral. I barely remember the month. So be careful, be very careful.
  8. I have a lot of Enjoy Life products in my home and so far never had a reaction to them.
  9. I eat Dove and Hersheys (same company). I would not try Godiva risk is too great but if you do try it you may not be as senstive as I am. I get sick for a month and I hate loosing a whole month.
  10. I cannot use Herbal Essence, not sure why since I did not see any gluten in the ingredients but my head did itch a lot. But I did not actually feel sick which is my usual gluten feeling. I changed my shampoo and itch went away. I do use MAC and Prescriptives make up, I read the labels, took a while but finally found blush, eye shadow and lipstick and eyeliner...

  17. The caseans are the killer for me, I can tolerate very little lactose free milk, just enough for a bowl of cereal but that took about 2 years to get to that point and Ice Cream is out forever.
  18. Sounds great, waiting till they get it here. Then after I eat 1/2 a loaf I will feel guilty with a big smile on my face and my hand on my ever expanding tummy.
  19. I finally finished the article. Melanie Weir the author is part of my Celiac Support Group and I go to her store frequently. She is really nice and is quite knowledgeable but I admit this article was confusing and tooooo long. All I know is that I will continue on being careful real labled call mfg's and if I have any question come back here and ask, you...

  21. I am able to eat oats as long at they are certified gluten-free, never had a problem even from the start, I did not even know that I should have waited a bit to heal. A good Granola is Bakery on Main there are different flavors. I love the nutty cranberry granola. There is no oats in there. Eating them right now. Expensive but good. Raleys in Nor Cal...
