  1. oh dear Do you have any confort foods handy?
  2. I love the pasta made from it and corn. It doesn't bloat me like wheat did (pre-gluten free) nor does it do the heavy as a rock like rice pasta does to me. In fact it holds up quite well after being refrigerated and has a great flavor.
  3. It could be. It could also have something to do with blood sugar, have you been checked for diabetes?
  4. It would have a more carmalization effect. Heck i've been known to sprinkle a little over steamed carrots. Speaking of brown sugar, i've got some apples that need to be eaten up. Probably going to cut them thinly and cook them up
  5. Oh boy, i've been there My major "IBS" as they called it symptoms started when i was 12. Randomly out of no where i'd get hit with "D" really bad, major cramping, feeling like i was going to pass out, etc. I would have to map out the bathrooms when i went out and about and always took pepto bismol before i went anywhere. At around the same time...
  6. I use their line of shampoo and conditioner. I've yet to see anything other than that though.
  7. I believe vanicream is gluten free. From their website faq: Do your products contain gluten? We have tested all of our products, and none of them have shown the presence of gluten with our testing methods. Open Original Shared Link I would suggest to use the light version for more of a lotion-y feel and the regular for more of a facemask one...
  8. It surpised me though, even though it was rich as heck, i didn't get indigestion. -runs off to find a piece of wood to knock on-
  9. My experience after being gluten free for four weeks before biopsy, it turned out negative.
  10. Depends on how sensitive you are, I believe.
  11. Ah well that explains it. Well, that is good news then
  12. It was good though, i just might need to tweek it a bit more
  13. My family was on a bison kick for about two years, I got sick of it quick. The way they fixed it had very little flavor and whatnot o.O
  14. Since my alfredo plan was scrapped, i made a butter sauce to put over the pasta (butter + water then season and add parm cheese). Oh dear god, thats rich TT_TT I hope this doesn't come back to bite me. I did have a nice pile of broccoli with it though.
  15. isn't 13 a good level? I thought the scale was 1-20 was normal...
  16. I went to go make sure that i had all of the ingredients for my pasta dish tonight and lo and behold i discovered that my whipping cream that i picked up had Carageenan in it. Now, some of you may remember my spaz with the chocolate ice cream a while back and i singled out that as one of the possible issues. Oh dear. I'm also out of milk. Fun fun right...
  17. going to try my hand at making some homemade alfredo sauce tonight, putting it over pasta and having broccoli on the side.
  18. I really haven't. Thats what got me thinking that it might be it.
  19. well i learned something newe at least. But, alas, i'm allergic to them so yeah i won't have to worry about it.
  20. I would assume that "Fresh" means just that... fresh. Could cooking it by chance take some of it out? No clue...
  21. Ouch. I thought about doing the same with peanut butter, but for the life of me, could not find a package without the "being processed with...." blah blah blah.
  22. If its making you unconfertable, go off it for a while. yes, it will limit your diet even more, but is it worth the tummy troubles?
  23. She probably still is. Also, remember, foods that are spicy or heavy on a stomach are not really good when your healing. Stick with things that are on the mild side for a while. Another thing is she could still be going through withdrawl. Heck, it took me a good two months to get over it.
  24. Well, dinner failed.... majorly. My own fault really. No, I ain't going into the details, but least to say 4 chicken pieces were ruined and i feel bad about it. -sigh- At any rate, I had a bowl of cereal for dinner.
