  1. It could be. Good thing you are being tested for it
  2. Protien does help with headaches some. But it does not make them go away.
  3. This site helps me a lot as well. Get tested, stay on gluten until all the testing has been done, then regardless of results try gluten free afterwards.
  4. ^ same, positve blood, negative bio (4 weeks after gluten free). Positive reaction to diet. Positive genetic test. Was labled intolerent. Talked to two other doctors, they agreed it was celiac based off of my blood and genetic tests. Thats all i needed.
  5. has the grill been used to grill with stuff that has sauces on it? Sometimes those have gluten. It is generally reccomended to replace tupperware as it is rather inexpensive, however if it had scratches it is possible that there could have been cc. What type of sauce was it? There could be something in common with that and whateveryou ate.
  6. More often than not, it is better to make your own and less expensive.
  7. There is no garentee that imported is safer just so ya know.
  8. I'm starting to think that the pads might be an issue because it doesn't do it when i'm pantless. Well, it did do it last night but i think it was because i held it in too long. There is no redness or anything down there, so i don't know if it would be a yeast infection. I'm starting to think -crosses fingers- that my "C" issue is starting to clear...
  9. I certainly hope not. I generally go pantsless at my apartment to avoid it. My liners have a cotton like cover, so thats good.
  10. Well, i still have the big "C", but it maybe slowly resolving itself. Things are slowly moving, not my usual, but better than nothing. Still cramping a bit, but less often than before. My stomach still hates me, making me go nausous rather easily. No idea why its still doing this. No fever. My lady parts have also been irritated. I do not think that...
  11. Anyone can have anything not agree with them. There is no mutual safe food that everyone can eat without issue. I"m willing to bet however, there is something in common with the products you have eaten. That doesn't mean that it wasn't CC'd or what have you beforehand.
  12. Yes, it is. I've been having issues with spinage for the past couple of days. Regardless of what i eat, my body hates me for it. As for gluten, if your body is healing, the smallest thing could set it off. Thats why its generally adivsed to stay away from corn and dairy just to give your body a break. In the meantime, if you are going through that,...
  13. I baked an acorn squash and had it for dinner (turned out to be about a cup to a cup and a half due to part of it drying out ). I figured it would be good on a not so good digestive system at the moment. Put a little bit of olive oil (avoiding dairy till i'm better) and brown sugar. Yum..
  14. Pasta is pure water and wheat flour. O.O sometimes there are eggs but not always. I agree with shroom, try to pair it down some. Say have a single bowl of cereal as a snack food (i do this with rice chex ) and wait for about two hours before you try something else that day. Then test something again three days later (say this time cookies).
  15. Trust us, we've all been there and such.
  16. Urgency and feeling like i'm going to wet myself were to things pre dx that disturbed the heck out of me. It was never a UTI either.
  17. what about yeast?
  18. Or you could always import from the US....
  19. Ick. This has been killing me. On top of the major "C", my stomach has yet to decide whether or not it wants me to throw up or not. It just remains sour all the time. I asked my mom if she has had any ideas and i quote "You should eat more prunes (i ate three yesterday), the only reason you feel like this is because of the "C"" O.o Umm, no. I do not...
  20. They put that there to keep the lawyars away.
  21. Yes. I was like you and had symptoms for years, the "D" and whatnot. Then the march of 2011 i got the flu really bad, then had an allergic reaction to a medication a week later, then had persistand vomiting and "D". Was told many times that it was psychological and that there was nothing wrong with me and that i should be so babyish (i kid not). I eventually...
  22. Fruthermore, if you are having that sort of reaction, it seems to be more of an allergic one. Do be very careful with those.
  23. Indeed. In my case, my family has a history with issues in the vicatin area of meds, so it was best to avoid them. Though, heating pads do wonders...
  24. Sounds more to me like you had an extended gluten withdrawl (not fun when i went through it, i'd bust in tears walking by my schools pizza thing). If grain free is what helps ya, why not? You could always experiment down the road (about a year or so) to see if there is a spacific thing that is bugging you. Yay for progress.
