  1. Keep an eye on it. If it is a virus (i got hit with a nasty one a couple of weeks ago) then it might show up. As for the stomach issues, at this point i'd say stay on a BRAT diet (bannanas, rice, apple sauce, and toast (or maybe not lol)). Keep drinking water. If you can, i'd also suggest drinking somehting like gatoraide for the vitamins.
  2. Do you have a fever? And yes, from what i know, it is.
  3. This is why its so hard to find a good doctor.
  4. I'm starting to think the fullness/starving issue is more of a psycological one (no offense intended here). You'd be surpised on what stress and whatnot can do to you.
  5. Very, but you'll find replacements or gluten free items that you can eat.
  6. I have been dx'd with GERD (the biggest pain the the butt outside of celiac imo). I was tried on many medications and none worked. I finally went cold turkey (DO NOT SUGGEST THIS), and it lessened some. Now i have to watch everything i eat; no grease, spicy, or overly rich things or else it sets it off. I also have to eat something every so often or else...
  7. Well, at least you don't have to put up with him anymore People can be so ignorent about their health sometimes. Good luck
  8. hi! Cavities are probably from your recent pregnancy. My mom was like you, never had one, then after she had me, she had a couple. Something to do with calcium i think she said? The stomach problems are pretty much seen with this condition. Joint pain can be too. The rest i have heard of (but not experienced). What it could be too me it seems like...
  9. Honestly, if you can handle it, just go with plain tolenol or moltrin. They gave me tolenol with codien and on the second day i was throwing up something fierce. Also, you will probably have a sore sholder because of the gas they blow ya up with for the surgery. Heating pads are wonderful for this and walking helps alot.
  10. Since i ate my alfredo stuffs on thursday, i have felt like crud. My stomach throws a fit at anything remotely resembleing food (including milk, cheese, rice O.o, cabbage, etc, basically anything i eat) and my "C" is back with full force. As of right now, its churning something bad. I ate some prunes earlier thinking that might help and well yeah, this...
  11. you could take it, but should you need it for something else (aka allergic reaction), it probably won't work the best as your body would be used to it.
  12. So i have about 1/2 lb of beef thawing at the moment that i have no idea what to do with. I could make it into a pot roast or i could cut it up and perhaps make beef strips out of it. I also have at my disposial: carrots onions cabbage acorn squash rice apples Any ideas?
  13. Oh trust me, it was removed. The assistance surgeon said it looked dead when they took it out O.o
  14. I'm aware that a person must drink 64 oz of water every day to be "healthy". I have never been able to do this. I can normally get about 40 or so oz but any more than that and i feel waterlogged. I mean i try to sip on it and such but :/ I normally only drink water and an occasional glass of milk. Ideas?
  15. I think mine was bad beforehand and it made it worse to the point where it was pretty much dead (last scan on it was 5%). No pain here. On occasion i'll have nerve twinges (kinda like a shock) but other than that its fine.
  16. Is it really that good? I've tried mixes and they didn't like me (come to think if it its probably due to the fact that i was getting CCd by a bread machine). I've been wanting a good bread/muffin/something for a while and while corn tortillas work, it just don't cut it ya know?
  17. I had delt with random and spontanous "D" for years. It got to the point where i would have to take pepto bismol with me to go out. It got worse after i had a really bad case of the flu. Then i had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Everything seemed to spiral out of control after that. I would often throw up after i ate or had random "D". It caused me...
  18. Gluten free oats give me a belly ache. Normally now i just get a major bout of "C" that very little can get moving. It normally starts a few hours afterward. Also, I react fine to chex. That is the rice kind. I haven't tried the others. Perhaps over the next break i will.
  19. Might i also suggest some fun shaped ice cubes? I've seen some trays at bed bath and beyond that came in all sorts of shapes. That might be a fun idea.
  20. I've never heard of that. Gluten, however, has been known to make things worse.
  21. Technically, oatmeal is gluten free but has a massive CC risk.
  22. Or they put a type of sand in the packaged ones in the store.
  23. I take that back. Now i'm feeling like i did pre gluten free; crampy, nerves are shot to heck, going to the bathroom every five seconds with a bladder that cannot stop (which is caused by nerves), brain fog, tiredness, ickyness. I took some cranberry pills because i thought it might be a UTI but i don't think so now. I lived with this for years and...
  24. my mom suggested to switch to broccoli (which as far as i know, i have no problems with). But still... :/ I'm feeling a little better this morning, still cramping a bit though.
  25. he also said that if you feel gluten is the issue to cut it and perhaps see your doctor. No mention of testing or anything.
