  1. A little while ago, i noticed that my left cheek was stiff/numbish (think coming out from having a numbing shot in the mouth). It goes from up near my ear to my lips. But its not really a numb numb, its more of a tingle? I haven't eaten anything in about two hours (so an hour and a half after i ate). What i did was: ground beef, cabbage, onions, brown...
  2. Good for you! Yay!
  3. they make a cake mix? Link please :3
  4. Might i suggest having your husband get off that med? I had to take it for a few months and it did nothing but make it worse. It does more harm in the long run.
  5. I react badly to tomatos (it sets my body literally on fire feeling) and am now allergic to them. If you suspect them, cut them out.
  6. mmmmm.... molicules of the stuff when its boiling in the air? It doesn't surpise me. I've heard of people reacting when they walk by a bakery.
  7. My doctor is on the same boat (its just an allergy O.o). She is really good with all other things (shes the one that found out my gallbladder was dying), but..... dang it.... When i first met her and told her about it shes like "i don't know much about it so i won't say anything". Go back in the next visit its a "its just an allergy". -sigh-
  8. I didn't like them much at first either, but i now adore them
  9. Indeed it is It sets my axiety off like no tommorow. I do not take pills for it as they do not agree with me. I do however have coping techniques that i was taught to help.
  10. I think i'm pretty much over it now Feeling so much better, Thanks!
  11. I also agree. That with the blood results (imo is enough to have a diagnosis) will get the positive.
  12. was the 3 weeks before the blood test? If so you might not have been on it long enough (especially like mushroom said).
  13. Just a tid bit of info, i was diagnosed with a positive IGA tTG, normal of the DGP and IGg. In addition to this i tested positive with both genetic markers, as well as responding positively to the diet. Biopsy was negative. I think it is more of a case by case basis.
  14. i don't think it was the gluten dear, it was probably something else. Before i went gluten free, tomatos would cause me to have stomach problems. Afterwards, it moved into more of an allergic reaction type thing. Now i'm allergic to them. Removing something major from your diet will cause other things to come out of the woodwork.
  15. i'd say it was the cookies if their donuts have set you off before.
  16. I stopped buying grocery store meat after this last round (still using up the last of the chicken though). I saw meat that was.... green? in some places and was fatty and unappitizing. I'd rather pay more for good quality. For example i payed about.... errr... $12 or so for 3lbs of ground serlion. The grocery was selling it for about 5 per lb.
  17. oh dear... thats not good. What did you put on the samwich? Are you by chance allergic to yeast?
  18. eeeek, perhaps something else is setting ya off?
  19. Penicillium is the actual name for the mold Its probably a fugi out of the Rhizopus genus. (exuse the random tangent out of nowhere... i had to take a test in Biology today soooo....)
  20. eeeek i've noticed with ANY gluten free bread they start going after about two weeks in the fridge. If put in the freezer, it should last much much longer. I've never had udi's before, but normally when something doesn't look quite right i pitch it just to be on the safe side.
  21. I'm going to try, even if its just a bit of Peanut butter. -sigh-
  22. Another person with GERD here. Mine is now under control without medication, however, it is rather difficult to do so. I cannot eat fatty meats (bacon, sausage, you get the idea), no spicy at all,and no over doing it on the dairy. I also have to eat every so often (2-3 hours) to keep it from coming back up on me. I only drink water. Another thought...
  23. Imo, the best meat comes from a family owned butcher, no added water or crud, and fresh as fresh can be. A bit more expensive, but the quality is excellent.
  24. Stewed apples. I was going to skin them, but my motor skills weren't on my side today, So skinned stewed apples it is. Hopefully, it doesn't come back to bite me. If i get hungery later i might eat a corn tortilla with a tad bit of peanut butter (enough to take the taste away).
  25. Water, water, water, and water. There is no real way to speed it up.
