    caro, it is not an allergy. You can actually have an allergy to wheat & also have celiac disease. Celiac disease is an auto immune disease.

    It's really hard to say b/c so many rashes can look like what you are presenting with & dh can take so many forms but I will say that dh does look like that in some forms of it.     You can try going low iodine & see what happens. Iodine is known to make the dh worse or make it flare.
