  1. If your energy picks up that is a very good thing! I also think it is a good thing when one feels absolutely worse. I say, any reaction is a good reaction. I sure hope yours stays to the good. Diana
  2. I shook everyday of my life for as long as I could remember. I began taking magnesium. Three or four days later the shakes went away. I always thought I was shy/anxious, but magnesium took that feeling away! I began other nutrients at the same time, but I think I narrowed it down to the magnesium did it!
  3. Just now I am afraid that any of my attempts to eat others' food have been disastrous. If I didn't go there hungry, I wouldn't be tempted. I do think this is poor social behavior, but I don't see that I have any choice.
  4. Check the natural foods dairy substitutes place in the store. They now have several milks, almond, rice, coconut are common. I have even seen hemp and hazlenut milks. My personal favorite is Canned coconut milk. I can use it,guar gum, and sweetener to make a mock cream. I can make my own cocunut milk. I put 4 cups of water in the blender. Add ...
  5. You might want to study out any other nutrients you need. If you are not absorbing D well, what about B? Many of us are low in magnesium, iron, and B vitamins. I am planning to do a blood test for nutrients. Spectra -Cell is one test that measures for nutrients. DT

  9. I sent this to my children. For once they get some positive information from me. They were mostly only breast fed for 1 year. I recall a doctor saying to me that they do not often see babies who are breastfed and sick. Mine had some ear infections. Anyway I have been wondering if it could have related to my Celiac. Once I had a sunflower seed coming...
  10. Wow! Something like that happened to my brother. He couldn't get out of bed for 3 days when he was in his 20s. The doctors said that it was just fatigue, but I haven't been able to believe it. I suffer from hypoglycemia too. I hope your body will get to obsorbing things better. DT
  11. I hope you will get accurate tests and that it will help your health. Bloating with which comes a sense of feeling full no matter what or how much I eat. -Oh, could that why sometimes I am not hungry for days. Loss of appetite, I also have periods of extreme unsatiable hunger. Extreme fatigue together with dizziness, or fogginess. Always...
  12. Once upon a time I worked in a bakery. The health department allowed the paper to be reused many times. I do reuse my paper. I dump off any crumbs and fold to store it. At the bakery we just had a whole big stack of baking sheets with the paper on it. I toss mine when it doesn't look clean anymore. Since, I can't store it with the pan, I have trouble...
  13. Maybe I could get unsalted butter to use in my cooking, but have some salted to use for my family at the table. That could work.
  14. For those who use butter: What is in the salt that goes in the butter? I just wondered as I was eating breakfast.
  15. I think it is our responsibility to inform family. However, they may not believe us. So, please if you don't talk with your extended family let them know. I sent e-mails to some and papers to others. They might be suffering too. They may have no reason to check for Celiac.
  16. Well, this is the first post which I copied from the forum. I think it shows what continous small amounts of cross contamination can do. I think it shows me that diligence is necessary. One must either cook it themself, or you do have to be informing others with some degree of force. My current plan is not to let anyone cook for me outside of my home...
  17. I went to the store today, because my household of 8 had what seemed to be 1 tsp of salt left. I looked at the salts in the natural foods. My usual brand was 4 times as expensive as Hain. In large letters I read Sea Salt. I went home with the Hain Salt. For some reason after I got home I checked out the label. Yikes, there is an anticaking ingredient...
  18. I hope that you can find out how to help your daughter. Diet is a very good place to look, I think. Have you tried a rotational diet for the allergies? You eat one family of foods one day and another the next, so as not to repeat foods for 4 days. I am sure you can find instructions online. I have experienced foot pain. Mine was plantar fas$#...
  19. I wonder how long you have been doing this as I jumped in right here.
  20. I have been grain free for 3 months and gluten free about 5. I am experiencing what seems to be reactions to being near gluten flour, barley grass, airborne mini donuts... I get frequent rashes. I keep hearing that people are more careful when they first begin. Do people keep have reactions at the same level as they continue healing? Is more caution...

  22. Grapes have yeast naturally in/on them. I learned this picking grapes in an orchard. I won't tolerate grapes. But I see that one time you did. Well, I am about 3 months in and dealing with the same questions. What did it and why? Diana
  23. I sent you a personal message in response to this.
  24. I am so glad you found out early in her life. I hope she will heal soon. The diet should be just what she needs. You will find foods she will enjoy. They will do her good. You have come to the right place to find some ideas for food.
  25. I am supposed to eat poached eggs, slightly runny everyday for breakfast. My IGA tests were negative, I think. Anyway, my chiro says it okay and I can get my eggs from the chicken house or a farmer nearby. Enjoy your eggs!
