    Hi BlessedMommy, I've done a lot of research on it because I have it. I have read no connection linking it to Celiac. It is Autoimmune in nature.     Hi Scottishvoice and Welcome to the Forum. A couple things. People with DH typically don't test positive for the blood tests. The antibodies are in the skin opposed to the blood.     Same question. Are you diagnosed with DH and kids diagnosed with DH/Celiac? Also, your kids may have different reactions to yours so you would not be a good judge to how they are feeling.     You mentioned a rash in your earlier post. Our DH guru "Squirmingitch" has said that some with DH do not test positive on the blood tests because the antibodies are in the skin.     I have a one of the Hot/Cold cooler things that plugs into the car cig lighter. Can keep soups etc. hot and sandwiches etc. cool. Cooking on the ground in public is probably never a good idea IMHO Colleen
