  1. Karen, Thank you. Yes I was talking to Galaxie. Colleen
  2. In your other thread, it looks like you tested positive for celiac. Even low positive is positive, did I miss understand that other thread. I would suggest not eating gluten if your Celiac. Colleen
  3. Hi Willstewart and welcome. Just so you know, DH is a diagnosis of Celiac. Gluten Intolerance can have a number of rashes associated with it. I take it you haven't been tested? Anyway, glad your in good health and feeling well. Good Luck. Colleen
  4. I usually only get wallets, money and golf balls and tees... Now I'm hungry...guess another brownie Colleen
  5. I did not say the information was worthless. This is why the thread is still live. I told you that you may not get responses from this thread and you may start a new one if you please. There is an FAQ section that might interest you and help you navigate the site. Colleen
  6. I usually frown upon Garage Tools in the Kitchen. I take a box of garage tools out of the house every week or so. It's interesting too because nothing in the house is getting fixed but there's tools everywhere....huh. Colleen
  7. Hi there. This thread is seven years old and it is very unlikely that the posters will see your reply. You are welcome to start a new thread if you like. Colleen
  8. The member you replied to has not been active since 2009, you may not get a response. Colleen
  9. Oh heck ya!. Add me to the "Margie of the Month" club I like em shaken with salt.... I could possible get my Son to wash and wax but since I told my daughter in a very nice way to "move her assets out of my house", she might be a hard sell. I'll look for something on Facebook from her. Colleen
  10. I'm afraid to ask. What's a Margie? And it was a nice thought about the memo but if they actually got me anything for Mothers Day I would have to give them the money for it...lol
  11. I just can't keep up with this thread. It's like, in the old days, using the telephone on a party line. I missed Cinco De Mayo, didn't know it was coming up. I need plenty of warning for Holidays if I'm gonna hit the right day! And one more thing, when exactly is Mothers Day. I know its coming from all the commercials on TV. Oh, I made brownings...
  12. Wow. That is definetly a proud Mamma moment. Congratulations to all the rug rats Colleen
  13. Hi gfplumber, Welcome. Laura has given you the advice you need for your issue. Hospitals all have financial aid available there are free clinics that cover most areas. I would also urge you to seek medical attention. Anal fissures usually get infected because of there location. And Hemorrhoids usually get worse and worse and can really effect your...
  14. Then I guess your option is to get ahold of the company tomorrow. Good Luck Colleen
  15. The only way to know if you have Celiac is a gluten challenge, then blood work followed by an endoscope. If your tests for Celiac are negative you may be Gluten Sensitive as there are currently no tests for that. That's the quick and dirty of it. Colleen
  16. FruitE, I really have to agree with Irish on everything she's told you and there are VERY few on this board who actually have a Histamine intolerance and even less with MCAD. If you don't find relief of some big issues with going low/no histamine in a few weeks then it is likely not an issue for you. I hate to see New Members run after cures when...
  17. NCGI can also present with a variety of rashes, not including DH. Colleen
  18. I was just reading in Dr. Fassano's book that the rate of Celiac in China specifically is rising because of influx of American food ie. McDonalds, KFC and more expanding into china and the younger generation going away from tradition. I would guess, at this point, the same thing is happening in India and all of Asia where American food is infiltrating. ...
  19. Your dietician was most likely referring to "seasonings". They contain blends of spices and other stuff. Always read the label on seasonings. Colleen
  20. Hi Michelle and Welcome. Seriously, I would wait for the Doctor. As you know, we are not medical professionals here and I would hate to see you take some erroneous advice that could affect his health. Colleen
  21. Hi Alex, and welcome The problem seems to be the times "you ingest gluten without meaning to". Not being able to eat 100% gluten free will keep your autoimmune system attacking your body. The only way to stop needing sick days is to eat cleanly. Stick with meat, fruit, vegitables and nuts...whole foods. Then you will find you won't need any sick days...
  22. When we take my step daughter to cheddars, I eat first at home and have an awesome shaken margarita during dinner.
  23. You Know You're a Celiac If... ...You've deliberately slammed your shopping cart into a box of Wheat Thins in a fit of rage! ...You have to take out a loan just to buy groceries! ...you've ever asked, "can you please tell the chef to thoroughly clean the grill before you cook my meal." ...you secretly hate Jared, the Subway spokesperson! ...
  24. You are on the bus when you suddenly realize that meal you thought was gluten-free, really wasn’t… and you need to fart. The music is really loud, so you decide to be clever and time your farts with the beat. After a couple of songs, you start to feel better as you approach your stop. As you are leaving the bus, people are really staring you down. Th...
  25. Here ya go Irish. So an Irish Man walks into a bar..... Oh crap, you probably know this one eh? Colleen
