    Since this is not a medical Web Site, I don't feel any information gleaned from this site should be copied for use on other sites which may be out of context.     Did you go Dairy Free when you went Gluten Free. Looks like an oversight by the Doctor if she didn't tell you. You should call this Doctor and ask her for additional testing for these deficiencies or if it just means go dairy free. Either way you need to know what this means.     Your Blood work is definately negative but eating gluten for 13 days, it is not unexpected. 8-12 weeks for a gluten challenge. Also you cannot use steroid cream if you want to get your skin biopsied, it will give a false reading. The report reads funny about the gene information.     It is my understanding with DH that the antibodies deposit under the skin, causing DH. Some Celiacs with DH have no other symptoms. If is also my understanding that there is a higher negative rate of endoscope biopsies and blood work. The biopsy of the skin is taken adjacent to the lesion.     I just want to point out to you that there is currently no accepted saliva test for Celiac Disease or any accepted testing for Gluten Sensitivity. This is most likely why your Ex is having trouble with what your doing.     I have adhesive sensitivity also, not band aids per se but tapes and electrode lead adhesives and IV adhesive. It's a real pain when you have to tape bandages for 3 weeks and the tape is killing you...lol Since this is not a celiac topic or related topic I will move it to the Gab/Chat section. Colleen

    My hypothyroid has been stable with the same dose of med for 15 or so years. It only fluctuation once during cancer treatments then returned to my baseline. Colleen

    Hi Cathy and Welcome. The friendly approach sounds great. But please be aware, it is not an allergy, and you do need to get across the seriousness of this disease.
