    I tried making one a few minutes ago and did a terrible job. I did use the Vances and it did not froth. According to my machine it said I needed skim or 2% milk. So, I thought I would make some Vances up that is a little thinner until I can get to the health food store for the almond milk. It wasn't just that it did not froth. But, I used 50% espresso...

    Have a great trip Jen. Post plenty of photo's so I can see how Santa Rosa Island is now a Metropolis instead of just sand surrounded by water. I also want to see photo's of this huge mall in Destin. Glad that you are going to really enjoy this vacation and that you are going to be able to eat safely.

    I forgot to mention that I react to gluten or cross contamination within 10 minutes. So, I am comfortable in saying it is still gluten-free.

    That is all I use. They are gluten-free. When I called 2 years ago, they told me that the tablets had gluten in them and that the gel caplets did not.

    I no longer can travel, but I love to read about others exciting trips. BTW, I did travel a lot before I got sick, so I have no complaints. As far as paying for the food I don't eat. I don't go out on a daily basis like you do when you travel and that makes a difference in perspectives. I really don't mind paying for things I don't eat as long as I can...

    I am on my way to bed, so I am sorry that I will be making this short. If the biopsy is positive, it is a definate answer. If it is negative, it could be a false negative. The biopsies should be taken from 8 to 10 (?) different areas and the right area could be missed. And yes, many of us have suffered on and off with some of the worse symptoms before...

    Forget Rusla doing this. She only does the good Goddess things as the bad can come back to haunt her. I am all for a Voodoo doll. At least Lynne could take her frustrations out on it, if nothing else. But, I think with a Voodoo doll you need nail clippings and hair from her neighbor. First doctors say, that the blood test being positive means nothing and that you have to have a biopsy.     I am not an expert on dairy. I do use a hard cheddar goat cheese for grilled sandswiches, etc. I think it was Tarnelberry (quite awhile ago) who said that hard cheddar goat cheese has no casein in it. I am allergic to the casein. I do sometimes use a soft qoat cheese in place of cream cheese. I still watch how often I use that as I think that has casein...

    You are further then I am. I don't even know what kind of machine to buy. But, I am not buying one until I see if it is even possible. I would think if the Almond milk would froth, that it would make a great tasting latte. I know you can't have any coffee, but if you figure out what non-dairy milk froths, please let me know.

    I have been making my own mayo, on and off for years. I add 2 eggs (room temp), 2 TB lemon juice, 1/4 tsp sea salt. Beat all three for one minute at high speed.
