The other test is the total IgA, which measures your ability to produce IgA antibodies. If you were IgA deficient, and had Celiac, you couldn't test positive on any of the IgA based tests (tTG IgA, AGA IgA, EMA IgA, etc). According to your bloodwork...

  16. Modified corn starch is safe. Modified food starch is usually from corn (safe). If it were derived from wheat, it would be labeled and say something like, "modified food starch - wheat." Caramel coloring in the US is generally safe. Wheat would be required to be listed.
  17. Janet's right -its the Creamy Mushroom that is gluten-free. For some recipes, you may need to thicken it a little bit with a gluten-free starch/flour.

  25. No - you haven't lost all ground! However, gluten sets off the autoimmune reaction, and the goal is to stop the autoimmune reaction (and subsequent damage and/or symptoms) from occurring. Just do the best you can - you'll find a balance after trial and error.
