  1. Disagree with the above post. All FDA products are required to list wheat. It would be in violation not to fully dislose wheat. Used in conjunction with the food labeling law, the list of companies with clear labeling policies is, generally, enough to make an educated decision on whether a product contains gluten or not.

  21. Any regular oats are not safe for any Celiac. Only a small number of brands have gluten free oats that are not grown or manufactured in a way that allows for contamination. Even when using gluten free oats, there is a small percentage of Celiacs that still cross-react to avenin, the protein in oats that is similar to the gluten containing 'parts'...

  23. Carole - We used the pie crusts for the first time this year and I agree- they really were wonderful!
  24. They ususally don't recommend obedience training at 10 weeks anyways - they need to be a little bit more mature before you start. Most places have recommendations for ages. But you can do plenty of training - sit, down, stay, etc. without obedience, luckily!
