  2. I never take any medications except when this happens, and I would have never believed it, but Pepto works SO fast and so well.
  3. alamaz, when i was first diagnosed, i started losing significantly. i am 5'7'', and lost weight so fast - i bottomed out at 78lbs, and i am not a very tiny build (small to medium). i went to the doctor weekly for 7 months. i was in the hospital. it was horrible. don't let it get to this. you should make sure you are eating a proper diet. i'm studying dietetics...
  4. There are a million remedies for one to take care of themselves. THIS IS NOT ONE! Please don't even attempt it. Raven offered some great advice.
  5. wowzer - silk brand soymilk makes a creamer. i've never had it, but my mum who likes cream in her coffee (and is casein free) says it's wonderful.

  19. I take Bio-K (the dairy free version). But you're already gone
  20. I realize the dangers of MSG and that it is a flavouring agent, but I don't see the correlation with nutritional yeast - that is why I am confused. Thanks, though, I guess.
  21. HawkFire, CarlaB is right, it's different than bread yeast. It's used more as a flavouring - like a spice. It is flaky like potato flakes. But either way, it is still yeast and if you have yeast problems, I would not recommend it in that case. you can get tested for B12 through bloodwork. Do that BEFORE you take supplements. RiceGuy - do you have...
  22. I use Kirkland and Loblaws, but because they change where they get them from, I re-call every time. They've never not been gluten-free though.
  23. Nutritional yeast is an EXCELLENT source of B12. It provides everything you need without supplements. It's a staple in a vegan diet.
  24. Nama, My mum, sister, and aunt have MS, and I've been tested 3 times. Needless to say, I come from a very knowledgable background. If you have any specific questions, thoughts, or concerns, feel free to PM me any time.
  25. I buy vegan, organic wine, and then it helps avoid the other allergens (as well as sulphites).
