  2. I have head that they are gluten free. With the holiday weekend, I am not sure that you can call the ww.number. They would be required to list wheat. Have a good holiday weekend.
  3. Sorry Betty, no help from me tonight. Can't see the list of ingred...
  4. It would be great if you could post your e-mail from Coca Cola. It's aways good to post your source because there is alot of speculation out there, not based on fact. We try to be as accurate at possible regarding ingredients.
  5. WELL THEN............WE WILL HAVE THE PARTY RIGHT HERE. I'll bring the cake...oops forgot, I don't bake. We'll get Angie (Gulia) to bring the cake. Pedro just made some awsome spaghetti sauce for dinner. I will sing the happy birthday song and Patti will stand at the door and wrangle everyone back from the door after my singing. Who else is comming...
  6. I don't know if I can answer that question, but I can truly say that I never did like breads, pasta and beer, prior to celiac. I always requested my hot dog without a bun and hamburger likewise - before celiac. I thinks you have to listen to your body. It speaks and sometimes we just don't listen.
  7. Brown rice is gluten free....from a take-out if the brown is from soy sauce, it is not. Sandi, go the the take-out place some time between lunch and dinner when they are not busy and talk to them about what would be safe for you to order. NO SOY SAUCE in a take-out, instead use LaChoy that you can buy at the store and it is gluten free.
  8. Just want to throw a bit of caution regarding McD's fries - with a very, very extended debate, it was concluded that the fries should be attempted at your own risk.....now slowly backing out the door and ending this discussion regarding french fries.
  9. Sandi: I am sorry that you are feeling so bad. I would recommend that you go back to the basic diet of meats, seafood, rice, potatoes, fresh veggies and the fruit that you can tolerate. You NEED to have a balanced diet and lettuce and eggs won't do it. Depression can also be a gluten related issue. The reason that many of us are so diligent...

  13. I think you are correct in that. But baby steps are steps forward. With all the gluten issue in the news, whether it be diet related, medically related or pet related, times are changing. That's why it's so important to call companies and inquire about the gluten free status of their products. Keep calling peeps.
  14. Not being much of a baker, but could you turn it a few time in the over to get a more equal heat?
