  1. I had a Sol Burger for supper. It was delicious and very much like how I remember a meat burger.
  2. Great idea to e-mail them. I should do the same. The liquor stores here are having a hard time keeping La Messagerie on the shelves. There's nothing wrong with a little competition in the market.
  3. I like Lundberg rice cakes. I'm not sure of any other safe brand.
  4. I found a gelatin made from pigs ears at the health food store. I know that pigs ears are quite the doggy treat too. LOL
  5. I use Tom's of Maine.
  6. If you are going to have special teas, read the ingredients carefully to ensure that there is no gluten. I was tired in the beginning of going gluten-free. It takes time for your body to adjust. You may want to keep a food diary for a while to see if other foods are bothering you while your system is healing. I was having diarrhea in the beginning and...
  7. You never know these days. They might think M & Ms are dangerous! LOL Eight months... good luck.
  8. I've been on the pill basically forever. I was on it for over a decade of being constantly sick and I didn't have any problems. Let me tell you it has worked like a charm. I think it is absorbed pretty quickly, but I'm just guessing.
  9. Tomato paste is usually tomatoes only. I buy canned tomato paste and tomatoes are the only ingredient on the can.
  10. Felidae

    ARCHIVED Coffee

I'm not sure. Is it a particular brand that you are reacting to?
  11. I guess if anyone visits Australia, they'll have to bring you a suitcase full of M & Ms.
  12. If everyone agreed with each other, we would all be eating the same food, chasing the same man/woman and living in the same house. We have to disagree on some topics because it is human nature and as someone else posted, you can learn from other peoples opinions.
  13. I am on the pill and I have been on it basically forever. Not really, but for a very long time. I don't have any problems with it. It's important to make sure the brand you use is gluten-free. Also, not all the brands are the same. Some can make you feel wierder than others. Don't settle for the first one you try if you feel off. Try another brand...
  14. I use Tom's. This is from their website, "Only two of our products contain gluten: Natural Moisturizing Hand Soap liquids (Contains wheat protein) Natural Moisturizing Body Wash (Contains wheat protein) All other Tom's of Maine products are free of any ingredient derived from wheat, rye, barley, or oats, nor are our ingredients processed with...
  15. Great information and thanks for posting it.
  16. It sure won't hurt you to try the diet. I've got the IBS "diagnosis" too. But the only thing that allowed me to not starve to death because everything I ate made me sick was going gluten-free. I had mouth ulcers (canker sores) too until I removed gluten from my diet.
  17. My skin has been flaking in these dry and cold temperatures. George's Special Dry Hand Cream is good at night especially for hands and feet. But it's a little too thick for the face.
  18. This is exactly what I do also.
  19. I only have tuna in water also and it is the only kind that I have ever had. I buy Oceans, Clover Leaf or Gold Seal. The ingredients are normally tuna, salt, water and some have a preservative such as disodium phosphate.
  20. I hope they'll start exporting the beer into Canada too. It would be great to have two choices of gluten-free beer.
  21. I've had no problems with this product, 2) Thai Kitchen Rice Noodle Bowl (Mushroom).
  22. I didn't mean to sound abrasive. I just meant that any company information can change over the years. Just for people to be cautious...
  23. That bread looks delicious!
  24. It's such a pain. But the only way you'll know for sure is if you try Classico again. It could be some wierd ingredient in their sauce that doesn't agree with you guys. I personally would just make sauce from scratch. It's pretty easy, cheap and quick. Then you know for sure exactly what is in the sauce. Sometimes packaged foods are a real pain in...
  25. I realize this is the teenager section, but there are a lot of us more mature folk from Canada. There are probably some Canadian youngsters on here too.
