  1. Less diarrhea, less gas, no bloating, fewer headaches, less anxiety, hair regrowth, more energy.
  2. I only eat chicken and fish, but soon after going gluten-free I craved beef. I had my husband bbq a steak for me and I ate one bite. I couldn't stomach it, which was odd because I used to eat beef years ago and thankfully it doesn't appeal to me anymore. I haven't craved it since.
  3. Yes, I have frozen Tinkyada pasta dishes before and they are delicious reheated.
  4. Good times mountain biking up in western Canada.
  5. So true, and their snoring doesn't wake them up or even the fire trucks with sirens blaring.
  6. I give my vote for the Natural Balance Venison & Green Pea.
  7. I hand wash all my dishes too and my husband eats regular bread. I wouldn't think it would be from that either. But, I have seen crumbs in my dishwasher after the dishes are clean which is why I started hand washing again.
  8. I also love hiking, envious again. Sounds like some great New Years are to be had.
  9. I love skiing and so I am very envious. Have fun out there.
  10. Great advice and no she won't be upset. Thanks
  11. Nakano's website (FAQ Section) says they are gluten free. I have used them without any problems.
  12. I'm going to book an appointment to get the paperwork. It just seems like such a waste for the doctor to get paid again just to photocopy my results.
  13. Yes I'm menstruating. I've been gluten-free since June 2005 and my iron has remeined steady. I think it went up one point from last year. I definitely trust my doctor. But I don't have the lab results. That would require making another appointment and asking for them. I think I might have to do that. SHe wants to run more blood work in three months...
  14. We have a doctor shortage here, so that's not an option. Also, she has sent me to every specialist that I have needed without question. I'm just confused about the different information I am reading.
  15. Okay, I'm really confused. I just saw my doctor for my annual check-up and had some bloodwork done. My iron is at 21 and my thyroid is borderline underactive. My doctor who has been really good to me says that my iron is in the low range but still fine. But from reading posts on this site and other information leads me to believe that my iron is low....
  16. I had an antibodies test before and it was normal. I don't have the paperwork. We have to book another appointment to ask for the paperwork and pay for the photocopying. I wish they would just give me every lab I have had done. So do you suggest having antibody tests run say on a Monday and then on the following Monday? I may book another appointment...
  17. Kinnikinnick has a good pancake/waffle mix. Bette Hagman has a recipe for cream of mushroom soup in her "Comfort Foods" book. I haven't tried it yet; I just took her book out from the library.
  18. Yes and some of that new Redbridge beer.
  19. I am glad someone posted a question about their thyroid. My doctor called with my lab results from yesterday, and once again my thyroid is borderline underactive. She wants to run antibody tests in three months again to see if there is any change. It seems to me though that I have these kind of results every other year and the rest of the time the results...
  20. What brand of instant vanilla pudding mix do you use?
  21. McDonalds fries are safe. However, there is some debate around this topic. If you are in Canada, New York Fries are safe too.
  22. Thanks for the great recipes. I love converting gluten recipes to safe ones. But, it's really nice when someone else (like you) can try them first for me. LOL
  23. I have reacted from Bob's Red Mill. I also buy flours and starches from the asian section in my grocery store and combine them with sorghum flour from the health food store.
