    I think we all remember too well what you are going through right now. Just ask my dh about the several meltdowns I had in the beginning. It got to where he'd have a bottle of wine ready for me if he knew I was trying a new recipe!     Honestly, it sounds to me like you have an answer. Babies that age should not be anemic if they are absorbing at least half the nutrients from the food that they take in.     So far, we haven't had any problems. At Emmie's appt. the receptionist was able to call and get an ingredient list faxed over and verified that everything they were using at the time was gluten free. I got lucky in that our dentist knew exactly what celiac was, b/c for a while he thougth his son had it. I haven't found a toothpaste with gluten yet either...

    There are some good pumps out there....the Medela Pump In Style is good, but my suggestion would be to contact a lactation consultant asap, and you can rent a hospital grade pump (the cadillac of breast pumps) for $50 a month.     Celiac can most definately cause a speech delay in children. The good news for you is that your son tested above age level in everything else, and he will probably make great strides with the help of speech therapy. I really wouldn't worry about him being labeled at this point.....take any and all help that is offered. Once he catches up, he'll test out...

    Regarding the inflammation, my daughter had that as well. So, I would definately say that could be a sign of celiac. Now, in terms of the diet.......I have a few ideas for ya!
