    Hi Stella. I am sorry, like quite a few of us on the forum, sometimes it does feel as if the celiac test is just the tip of the iceberg!     In the UK, or at least certainly in the area where I live, first you have the blood test for celiac on the National Health Service, if that is positive, then you have an endoscopy and then if that is positive you are referred to a nutritionalist.     I'm hoping about the hair thing too.... what I do know is my friend had a Thyroid problem and she took the meds and her hair is great now. Also, I am told low blood iron can cause thinning hair.     Hi Louise I was diagnosed by endoscopy and have been gluten-free for six months now. Initially I continued to get bloating, stomach pain and D.     In the UK, Sainsburys and Waitrose are other good stores which you find in most towns which also have free-from aisles, the bigger the branch, the better the choice available.
