    Dolphin I sympathise, we are in the same situation here regarding referrals, you have to go through a GP. Is there any chance you could ask to be referred to another GI and go privately, if necessary, to speed you up the list?

    Amazing book - an absolute godsend. I think it helps that it is written by an ex-sufferer. That chapter on Setbacks may be all you will need to read. Oh... and make sure your iron and B12 levels are good, that will really help. All the very best.

    I was very anxious before my diagnosis.. I found a book by a chap called Paul David which helped me understand anxiety better and it gives advice on recovery.
