  1. Hi and welcome! I drink hot tea, and stick with bland foods until I feel better. I find that having a little something in my stomach actually helps. Banana, potato, Fage 0% yogurt are go-to things for me. I tend to get D, so I use Immodium for that. I used to try and let it run it's course, but honestly, for me, one dose usually stops it completely...
  2. I also reacted to gluten-free alternatives. Through process of elimination, I figured out that I need to avoid soy and tapioca. Also, if the products you are eating are made on shared lines as gluten containing items, you may be getting some cross contamination.
  3. I can understand your worry, but thoroughly rinsing everything before putting them into the dishwasher will be fine. I'm in a temporary situation right now where I'm living with a family member with a tiny kitchen and no dishwasher. I am very sensitive to cross contamination, but have not had a problem. I do the same--rinse everything well before hand...
  4. I like Ferea by Loreal. The last I used it, it was gluten-free. Any gluten is likely to be in the conditioner--read through the ingredients to be safe, whichever brand you choose.
  5. I bought a bottle of Pepsi Throwback at Wal Mart outside of Houston. It was really good, but I've not been able to find it anywhere since.
  6. He wanted to dress it up a little fer ya!
  7. Good'un Uncle Ray! I love how all the sillies are being present and accounted fer
  8. Jan-it, I'm glad the Smackster got through it ok--poor kid. I have a kid like that--scared to death of needles--they actually still make him pass out to this day. I'm around....I'm always around Niether sillie or unsillie...just readin' along waitin' fer somebody to post ...still don't pheel real good though. Phingers crossed--the house is...
  9. Aw ...Hanque's phirst psillie spelling!
  10. Unfortunately, there are Celiacs out there that don't believe they need to stick to the diet 100%. When I was first diagnosed, my husband's aunt told me that her husband's cousin has Celiac and that after a while I could have a litle gluten now and then and it wouldn't bother me. All we can do is offer to help, as you ladies did--and beyond that, it...
  11. Yes! And another thing I love about it is that it doesn't interact with your sweat and cause discoloring under the arms of white tops. Nor do I have to worry about white flakes when I wear black, sleevless tops/tank dresses.
  12. I use few at the moment while I get this coconut issue worked out. I found a soap that I like--it is coconut free and of course gluten-free. Open Original Shared Link If you're having trouble and can't pin point why you may have additional intolerances. This company has a lot of nice products that are free of the common triggers. For shampoo...
  13. I agree--elimination is the best way to figure these things out. I would definitely try a peanut-only peanut butter. Smuckers makes a good one.
  14. I think you make a good point.
  15. This may be a stretch, but I will throw it out there because you never know what might ring a bell. I get migraine headaches, dizziness and nausea from coconut. Coconut is related in some way to palm.
  16. Ravenwood, I am so sorry. I know this is going to be a very difficult night for you--I'm crying a little as I read this. I lost my kitty last year at 18. He also stopped eating, and declined rapidly. (((hugs))) to you on the loss of your friend.
  17. It's gluten free alright, that's for sure but I can't use it myself because it contains coconut. I'm extremely sensitive to coconut, and for a long time I was ok to just not consume it. Now, I react to it in topical products with eczema, migraines, and nausea.
  18. Sounds great Liz! Much luck with it
  19. Sounds like phun! Have a great time
  20. Hi Lisa, nice to see you back I stick with Kraft--I use both the shredded and the sticks often. Polly-O is also Kraft. I find with them you can trust the label.
