  1. These things can also happen when we're tired or under a lot of stress.
  2. This would indicate Celiac Disease. I would say that you definately have Celiac and may have begun to heal--why in the world he would diagnose a wheat allergy with this criteria is beyond me. You are in the right place--best of luck with the diet/lifestyle and let us know how we can help
  3. You poor thing! I'm so sorry about your day. I can help with the Afrin--it is gluten-free. I'm actually on it now, compliments of a dysfunctional eustacian tube I've used Robitussin Honey Lemon Cough Drops and their cough syrups before with no problems. I don't use the multi symptom cold meds--just Extra Strength Tylenol as needed, so I can...
  4. Nik--how's Al? Did he ever get a reaction from the toast?
  5. I thought I could tolerate corn again after omitting it from my diet for a whole year. I don't get GI symptoms from it anymore except for bloating. Like Jestgar, I don't cook with it (I do most everything from scratch) or eat it at home but do get the Lemon Chicken at PF Changs occasionally in which the chicken is dredged in cornstarch. I did so this...
  6. Well, I wouldn't be surprised at all if chickens swear......I've never had any but I love their faces. They always look slightly pi$$ed off to me
  7. Sure, there is a range where you could possibly be at one end or the other. What I would do is call you doctor's office where you had your bloodwork done and ask for a copy.
  8. <snort> It's a central US thing Since I've lived me whole life (up until now....) in the eastern US, prime time shows always started at 8PM and went to 11PM, when the news came on and then the late night talk shows. The way it should be! Here in central time land, it's all an hour earlier. Flashforward at 7, Letterman at 10:30,........
  9. Anemia is a very common symptom of Celiac. I was severly anemic at the time I was diagnosed with a hemiglobin number of under 8. After about 6 months on the gluten-free diet, the number went to 14.6.
  10. <giggle> "wee stains" Looking forward to the premire--and now I'll have to look fer Rob I've read that the special effects in the opener rival those of any feature length movie. Can't wait--of course it's on at 7PM here .....I can nae get used to central time where "prime time" begins at 7.
  11. I'm very sensitive and take Caltrate 600 w/D twice a day with no problem.
  12. I take only the amount of magnesium that is in my multi vitamin--I was leery about taking more since I'm prone to D and didn't want to risk it. I only began taking the multi recently, so I'm not sure if it's contributed or not but my blood pressure continues to hover around 114/68 or so every day now.
  13. I call the manufacturer on all meds. The phone numbers can be found either on the company's website or your pharmacist can give it to you. I've never had a problem getting an answer this way even for generics.
